At the time it made 400 on the blower only was built gurdled gen 1 2.9 with 9.5 diamonds and stage 2 cams with a lsjion (Josh billingham) ported head

Then i was running out of fuel so i had Powell set me up a nifty surge tank with kinsler fuel filter and Bosch inline pump to accompany my DW300 intank pump with OTTP RSFS

Then came the nitrous and ended up spinning a rod bearing and now Belvederes rebuilding it for me with new sleeves to go with the closed deck girdle and some nifty valvetrain/cam upgrades

Welp, I might not be running my spray anymore

I was under the impression that 400 was a slightly optimistic goal on just the blower. I will be forged gen 2, 10:1, but I am 2.2l. Im pretty sure I bought the zzp s2 cams from you, and I have an lsjion head. I also have a rsfs/id1000's/aem320, so fuel shouldn't be an issue

It is a stock block, though. I ran nitrous when it was stock motor, and planned on a small shot to put me over the 400 mark. now that I'm finding 400+ might not be out of reach, im not sure I want to push the block any harder with n2o.

I guess we will see what it puts down when everything comes together. Again, the numbers are all relative, but the last thing i need to do is crack a sleeve. sucks because I loved the go go juice haha. I'm regretting not doing something with the block

setup a timing retard relay off the IAT and pull 5* of timing when spraying. I was doing back to back passes on the track with a hundo shot

IT COULD HAVE BEEN A FEW OTHER FACTORS AS WELL

and mine was/is a 2.0, 2.9 was a typo

If I decide to spray with the blower, it wont be fore a while. Everything is already in place, but I want to make sure all is well/and the tune is dialed in before I start getting too ballsy on the new motor. Thanks for the input

I'm not claiming that it will make 400. I was shooting for mid high 300's, with the intention of spraying to get over 400.

All I'm saying is that it seems like people have been pushing closer and closer to 400. I have a slight displacement and compression "advantage", all else essentially equal

Only small problem with the iat relay is there is a little under a second delay before it kicks in. So just make sure the progression isn't hitting full bore till after that.

I'd be happy with 301 but since my motor has 316,000KMS on it 290 is not that bad. At some point I'll rebuild the motor and get some better numbers.
