im deployed right not but when i was driving it..it rips pretty hard lol and that was w/o lsd and good tires now i got the zzp trans with lsd and 4.45 gearing so it should be even better..the cams make the thing really come to life

sweet! good to know. i am not sure if i have an lsd or where to look if i do. lol but if i don't i will b investing in 1 eventually. did u go to zzp for ur trans? i wanna get one down the road but saw on their website no option for shippin :*(

ya i had an lsd sittin in my garage so i sent my trans to them with the lsd...400 for lsd instal, 200 for gear pack shimmin, and 500 for the 4.45 gears and then wutever for shipping

Go to your trunk lift up the carpet that covers the spare tire and you will see a sticker that has all the option codes look for G85 and if you see it you should have a LSD.

yep no g85 code = u no have lsd. My car didnt come with it that was the first mod i did though with the clutch

i c turbo tech has a qualife lsd for 1k. would i b better off just buying a used g85 trans? how difficult is the lsd module to put in? i wanna upgrade trans eventually but was going to go with zzp trans down the line so don't know that i want to buy another trans just to keep 1 in a garage for time being

i did the whole trans. Found an SS that was wrecked in the rear, and bought the tanny for a grand with only 17k miles on it. back then that was a steal. I did the clutch at the same time and have over 50k miles on my gmp with many launches and never missed a beat or slipped on me. If your gonna get the zzp tranny thats fine but if u send them a open end diff as a core youll have to pay more for the lsd option

No i was gonna do a comparison on my new setup stock vs stage two cams but its not worth the hassle. Lift and duration has been increased so its going to produce more power period.

You have the GMR cams which is very similar to ZZP S2. That should be interesting.
