i dont think so but if you have better intake you should maybe gain a half a pound lol. but youd have to upgrade stage kits to get more boost or crank that **** up in the computer.

Are you looking at the boost gauge upon hitting the gas or at redline? You will get around 10psi instant boost and then build to 12.5 at redline (Maybe a bit less because you have the exhaust). Do you feel a power loss?

Then yes, take it to the dealer. Either your ECU is commanding the boost bypass to open for some reason or something is mechanically wrong with the boost bypass.

Yeah, weather conditions and altitude etc. will affect the blowers output, but if he's feeling a power loss that wasn't there before then it's easier to just take it to the dealership. Plus other people have had similar problems with their bypass.

If he feels a decrease in performance at high rpm then he needs to get it checked out. Sure with a bigger exhaust the peak boost will be slightly lower and you may notice it to be a little less quick off the line but you shouldn't feel a decrease in power up top you should make a little more power.

He said he gets between 9 and 10 psi at redline and noticed a loss in performance.

Idiots. When you open up the intake/exhaust it will show less boost on the gauge.

he is losing the boost beucase of less pressure in the manifold boost is not a measure of performance it is of pressure in you manifold

Did you not see where I said that the exhaust will cause a pressure drop in my first post moron? You need to stop being such a bitch and read what people have said before you open your mouth.

They are right about dropping psi due to increased flow which I had already mentioned. If you are running 9psi at redline and feel a noticeable loss in power in the powerband then something COULD be wrong (Especially since you said that you had your mods before this drop in power and pressure was noticed). If you were saying that you only noticed your car to be slower off the line then I wouldn't be as concerned with the issue.
