What turbo?

And I agree with Matt. I think I set mine to .032". I'm pushing 20psi out of a PTE SCM5031E. No spark problems here.

its a 50 trim precision. I have tried .35 and .30 and i still have the same breaking up issue around 5500. I'm starting to think plug gap isnt my problem. today on a second gear pull it threw 2 codes which are p0103- maf circuit high and p0231- fuel pump low circuit. But when the car was on the dyno two days ago it was breaking us same as now but no codes. my afr was right around 11.5 through the pull and zero knock. so any ideas you guys have let me know. i'm open to anything. i think the maf high might be related to my meth nozzle location. i have it just before the throttle body then if looking at the car my maf is about 5 inches to the right.

If you are having misfire issues, don't be afraid to close the gap some. Try .028"

The MAF issue could be from Meth spraying or dripping on the MAF, but that usually results in an over-rich condition as the MAF reading spikes very high when water or meth touches the sensor.

yea its weird car ran better with worn out autolite 3922 gapped probably close to .38 or .40 then it does now. maybe i should start around .38 and see how it goes

ok so i need to move the maf tube farther away then. i'll have to give that a try. any advice on the fuel pump code matt

I don't know about the fuel pump code. I've never had that one come up before.

great no one knows why its coming up. if something was unhooked or loose it would come up all the time correct not just intermittenly

Are you leaving the washer on the Spark Plug threads, or taking it off?

I'm not sure why you would still be having problems. I'm on a Precision 50trim as well, .032 worked fine for me. How much timing are you running? How much boost is it hitting?

Do you still have a Cat? What size exhaust piping are you running post-turbo?

yep leaving the washer on the plugs. just put in one step colder ngk. going to try a .28 plug gap and see what happens. as for timing i'm not completly sure i didnt do the tunning. tune time performance did it. as for boost right now its set around 20 till i figure this out. and i have a 3in downpipe no cat then still a 2.5in cat back. yea i know the cat back sucks but i doubt its the reason

I had really strange issues like spark blowout for almost a year in high boost when I ran a small exhaust. I ended up changing the entire setup except for the exhaust trying to figure it out.

Is your gate rerouted or open dump?

i have to run .28 or it breaks up a little, im on 3" crush bent exh. also if its way rich like 10.8's - 11.2's then it does it. if i keep it .28 and run 11.7-12.0 it pretty much never breaks up all the way to 8k.

the last time mine did it at the top of third is when i blew my sleeve, so be careful.

yea i'm being careful. i think i figured out that my meth nozzle was way to close to the maf. i dont know why i thought it was a good idea to put it there. every time the meth was spraying it was soaking the maf. turned off the meth for now and it pulls great till either i get wheel spin or clutch slip
