Oh I completely agree. I went to three shops who worked on the blown SVT lineup and two of them gave me the cold shoulder. One of the shop owners who will remain nameless as well as his business even had the nerve to tell me "Why would you even consider trying to make this thing fast? Be a good kiddo and use it for what it's made for...saving gas." I pulled $2,000 in cash (not like I was going to spend it anyway, but just for the sake of the moment) and told him, "hmmmm...well I guess I'll be spending this else where." Mind you that's all going into my savings account lol, I can't spend a dime of that. But anyway, the other shop was very nice to me and did take the time to do some calculations...it just turned out to be somethig I couldn't afford as they were asking a hefty amount for preliminary testing.
