new ic pump has arrived, here it is compared against the stock LSJ pump, which is actually an 006 on this pump (yes i know the head is broken off)

here you can see the connector difference

I'm not really going to have any way to compare it against the stock LSJ pump, but I can say that this theoretically should perform better all around, especially for guys with larger heater exchangers. The stats all seem to support that. I can say that it does require some significantly larger hose, 7/8" ID and 1 1/4" OD, which im hoping I can source from a friend rather then having to buy from mcmaster carr at 10 bucks a foot.

Go to Ace Hardware. That is where I bought my heater hoses when I rerouted everything.

Ill check it out, i gotta run over there to pick up some fittings for the heat exchanger outlets in matching sizes for the hose sections. Still gotta order a coolant reservoir im gonna run rather then the stock fill port and draw up the hose routing and figure out how i want to connect the new IC pump harness, if I want to use a time delay relay or not.

What tubing are you getting at 10 a foot? You should be able to get some Tygon PVC for around 2-5 a foot

5285K133 standard 7/8 coolant hose was 9.58 per ft
5727K44 marine hose with a 3" bend radius was 10.34 per ft

your right though i probably can find something suitable for cheaper.

Lol what is it made out of, gold?
Ace Hardware, <$1.00 a foot. I left with change from a $10 when I bought the clamps and hose to install my OTTP HE after my CXRacing one died killing a coon in the road.

It's probably PVC at ACE, which would work.

Heres some clear so you can see air bubbles and its only $6.80 a foot 8349T36.

That coolant hose you linked would be crap for this application, its not very flexible they don't even give it a bend radius rating.

My ACE had legit heater hose. Then again I live in Florida and they typically use in on pool heaters and such.

When I posted the build specs earlier in this thread, it should.

If it was me installing it I would use the larger hose from the pump ends to the next object. I would install a reducer on the object that hose connects to for the step down.

But with 7/8 hose how would you get it all to go on the heat exchanger and endplate? I dont know if bottlenecking would be good but maybe you could find hoses at an auto store that start big and end small then its just a matter of pipes between that and the 3/4 hose

I was planning on routing like this...correct me if my routing is wrong on a stock end plate.

it would only be 7/8th in two sections, shouldnt be an issue finding the right fittings.

That is exactly how mine is ran except my stock HE feeds to the OTTP one as well.
This worked best for me.

Excellent, , im using the Frozenboost type100 which should be plenty big enough, running the stock end plate for now, will have to see how it responds to the 2.8 pulley right off the bat.

I believe the pressure cap on the heat exchanger has a overflow port that ill run to the small nipple on the top of the coolant bottle.

I have a question for all you guys. I wanted to see if would be possible to run two Radiators ( zzp stealth and zzp stage 3 radiator) at the same time, and if this pump the OP posted would be able to handle two. Or would it all be a waste of time and money?

You mean the zzp stg 3 heat exchanger? The little front mount one? Yes. I was running both if those on a stock pump.

Yes. And the debate, in my mind, is if the stock pump is still adaquate with all of the extra coolant and flow. That is what led me to discovering this pump that flows more for the same cost as OEM.

So we all agree that we can run both zzp radiators? Will it downgrade the performance of the cooling?
