Nice. glad to see you still working on the project. Remember the old numbers were done with a 2.9" pulley and running at 17* of timing. Also i think they only took it up to 6K rpms unless they did a newer dyno than that. The biggest problem with making 320-330hp with just the TS upgrade is the cast rotors plain and simple. Yes it has more dsplacement than the M62 and runs at coolers temps but the M62 could run at higher rpms. The 1200ax maxs out at what 14 or 15K with a 2.9" pulley. Until forged rotors are made like they are in the KB and Whipple Superchargers which allow them to run at 20K+ RPMS, are made owners of this TS kit will have to be happy with whatever the kit makes. I myself plan on buying one sooner or later but money doesnt grow on trees and it'll be awhile before i do.

It is nice to see this project staying alive. I hope everything works out for Rebel and whomever buys the TS. It sounds sweet too.

Now before i get flamed. I'm not trying to trash the product because a TS is what we should have had from the factory but the numbers just don't add up for the price it's advertised at.
who says? hypereutectic pistons aren't weak when it comes to power they're weak when it comes to knock. I'd bet you can push over 300whp safely with this kit...safer than you could push 270whp on the heaton.

LOL your funny. I was just saying that because it weird how theres just a clip of an engine with a twinscrew starting up. hence "ok so it runs". I really don't think i was being a jerk.

Most LSJ's put down 215-220whp bone stock. Has the whipple kit even dyno'd at 300whp yet?
Common it's strapped to a Redline, you have to have something positive now

Well lets look at the facts, this kit made 281WHP and 263WTQ (@5700rpm) on a dyno which we later found out makes 219WHP and 200WTQ on a GM stage II, GMPP header/cat back, Rebel intake and 3.5" TB and by later on we mean late into fall with colder temps.

So now with a proper clutch and exhaust, we are confident it will make 300WHP+ on our dyno or 350WHP on a dyno which a GM stage II makes 240WHP.

281whp on 5700rpms.....try 7000rpms this thing should be easy 300-350whp

speaking of it displacing more volume....does anyone know exactly how much? And doesn't our M62 displace 1.3 liters? Thanks.

Alright! I see the car is back in action. Congrats Mase! I bet it's real nice to be up and running again.

Just for your information everyone, the car just got up and runnning. Mase just got done putting in a new engine since he blew the last one with another project. So let him at least break in the new engine and clutch in before expecting him to rock out some dyno numbers and videos. Please have some patience as he has been without his car for quite some time now.

The dyno I go to I only put down 197whp with just my Injen intake. With all my mods to include the 2.2L Cometic headgasket that lowered my compression a bit minus meth and the stock blower with a 2.6" pulley fully tuned I laid down 238whp on the same dyno. With the twinscrew and all my other mods and just starting the tuning I was at 272whp. There was still a lot more to be had and I didn't even start spraying methanol yet. The reason tuning had to stop was because of the belt slipping due to the snout leaking oil and a vacuum leak due to my methanol checkvalve breaking allowing 1.5 quarts of methanol to dump into the engine during one dyno pull. Luckily the engine **** it all out quickly and I didn't blow the engine.

Hopefully now, Mase can get you guys the "NUMBERS" you want on the dyno he goes to. I know it makes the power, I just want my toy back!

The pulley that was on the blower I tested was a 2.8" pulley and it belted out 24-25psi

I'm just curious, on my car I have a 2.8 ZZP pulley, and 42's, with a Injen CAI, and a tune by WickedSS2005, with stock exhaust, if I was to purchase this in the near future, would I have to do any Internal work like pistons, or head studs?? also would I have to get my car re-tuned?

I'm glad you can see i wasn't trying to trash the kit. I love the idea of a TS. I just want to see it up and running with no issues and solid numbers.

No internal work should be required, but you will definitely need to be retuned because you'll need the 60lb injectors.
