I will say with that other kit coming out, this project may not profit quite as well for the guys at Rebel. That is if the other kit makes the power as well. I guess the race is on. Will the 1.2L twinscrew outdue the 1.32L TVS screwed blower or vice versa? We shall soon see.

Will other pulleys be available or is this blower maxed out? If its maxed out, why not use the next step up and really have some fun.

I am anxious to do this as the twin screw is a MUCH more overall efficient blower than the roots Eaton. I am not looking for sky high HP numbers, just consistent power no matter what the temps on track.I believe this unit will deliver the goods, once the boys up north sort it out for us.

$3k is not a lot to pay for a well tested product that delivers solid, dependable HP.

Eng@RebelAutoWorxs-

Can you confirm that this kit will fit my Atom 2? -mine is #0072

Thanks!

Angry That's odd

Hmm, That's funny.
I'm one of the original buyers and I didn't know a damn thing about this thread until today.

And for anybody saying they can get the same with meth/nos..
What happens when your bottle is empty?
I can't remember ever having to refill my S/C so I can maintain HP.

True that, but I don't have to do that nearly as often as you'd have to fill a bottle. I also don't have to worry about if the bottle heater is working right and if the nitrous is at the right pressure etc.

Let's say it's $35 for a nitrous fill... You would get almost 86 fills of nitrous for the same price as my blower, meanwhile I just change the 130ml of oil in the blower every now and then, and I'm probably going to be good for over 100K miles. Plus, the power is always there once it's tuned in.

$35 to fill a bottle, that must be nice. last time a buddy of mine filled his 10lb bottle it was $8.70/lb, making a 10lb bottle $90, and that would last one friday night at the track. now figure he ran 15 or the 22 friday night races last year it was 1350 in nitrous alone. now add in the progressive controller ($700), fittings, nozzles, solonoids, hoses, bottle, bottle brackets, ect and you basicly $2300-2500 for the first year. keep in mind also that you dont have that power anytime you want it. nitrous aint cheap.

omg not the nitrous can do the same thing argument. nitrous = best bang for buck period, you could say that about ANY MOD. you just gotta decide, do you want the extra risks of nitrous, the fill ups, and the "oh...its on the bottle?" or you want power all the time with a bad ass whine and no constant spending.

Damn I didn't realize it was that expensive. I could have sworn that the local shop did 10lb bottles for like $35-40. Hmmm.... I'll have to look back into that too. Either way, it's not cheap considering a kit cost around $500, a bottle heater $200, gauges and remote opener even more, plus the fills. The hell with all that.

Eh, the wbody store sells a whipple swap kit for 3200 american and it's just a a blower, non of the adapter plates that come with this one.

I pay $4/lb for my nitrous and my dual stage progressive controller was $229 (FJO racing).

You can have a kick ass nitrous system for $1000 dollars.

personally, i think this is the inherent problem. most people here think the blower swap should be a larger blower making these "numbers" on 10-15psi. most of them are probably seeing the high boost levels and thinking the t/s is maxed out.. it may or may not be, i dont presume to know. however, i think once someone runs their car at the track and pulls a mid 12 at like 115, you'll have alot of people banging on your door.
