congrats on getting her back up an running bro, you gonna make it up to the Fall BBQ?

as for WG spring, I'd pack a 1bar / 1.1bar in there. i mean, do you honestly ever think your going to run LESS then 15psi?

the larger spring will help control accuracy, and help eliminate any spool loss from the gate cracking to early. (issue i had on my first WG)

also, I've had the 79's on my car for a while now, stock every thing on the fuel system, with no issues.

all though shes starting to run out of injector, so maybe over winter a fuel system will go in.

but this is with my 60-1, ported head, ect.

hope to see you around man, you back in flint-town yet?
I got the wastegate and mbc working so no need to upgrade.

Gonna steal those 79s off Witt this week.

Im done with school in Flinttown permanently but I am thinking about driving it up to visit the fall BBQ and some friends.

Actually it was drama free they called today and were like ya its covered we have to order the parts in. Gotta talk to the general manager tomorrow to see how we handle any extra labor if there is any...I reassured him there shouldnt be any since the turbo is mainly located passenger side and the cables are driver side. But ya..I was prepared for war.

next is a 35R HTA, that'll come over winter.
ha and you made fun of my decision to run one lol.
yeah that bosch 040 is more then enough fuel for you for now lol.

this is true, however it took some head work to gain the air flow needed to make the 60-1 as efficient as my Garrett unit.

now with my boost targets (PR) a 35r wheel is needed.

yeah I hear ya on that, hopefully I have some damn time to get my head to my friends shop. might actually drop it off this thursday to get him started on it. Not going to go too overboard, but definitely want some exhaust port work done and some minor intake work. then whenever the move is done, I'm callin up Al and the Pitt crew to come on up and give me a hand....

so would you guys recommend going return style or upgrading pump and run 79's? it seems like pump and 79's would be easier to tune for...

im just getting into hpt this weekend
any pointers would be greatly apreciated

for @400-450whp the walbro 255 hp GSS342 and 79's should be all you need. So far so good over here

Either works, the return is easier to tune for but more of a pain to install and you set yourself up to more potential leaks. Set the base pressure to run the injectors up to about 80% duty cycle at redline, tune and be done with it. I've run both systems with success.

Have you guys ever thought about using a fuel pump voltage booster to help with idc's? It's something i'm considering since it worked really well for another 400whp balt I know

Its not a good idea. Its sort of like overclocking a processor. You are making it work harder then it was designed and will eventually fail.

If you are going to go through all that work its better to do it right the first time.

hey now!

as soon as i go thro and delete the graphics of the location i dyno at I'll post it up!

just like my 1+ year old 320whp pull the torque curve is more of a plateau and it makes power allllllll the way up.

I'll admit its a bit flaccid below 3k, however i now have a solution for that in the trunk of the car.
