It baffles me that people spend all this money on parts, cars, etc. and they don't get a good tune to wrap it together.

Just met a random cobalt guy a couple months ago I wanted to buy a TVS from... he has some nice stuff on there. this guy didn't even have a wideband or interceptor and had a random shop tune it with no LSJ experience and without a wideband lol. Then he wonders why he blew up
The tune is def out of whack but couldn't pass up an 06 with 83k, tvs and exhaust. got it for 8k My other option was an Si lol

Just picked up an interceptor from a previous co-worker. off to the how-to section lol He's a mazda 3 guy now. . .yes hoping to get a video soon lol

You're right. That's just my terrible assumption flaming the prev owner for the way the car runs. I haven't had it looked at by a tuner. Thanks for pointing that out

Interceptor in and cleaned the throttle body with tb cleaner and rag. The car picks up better now. a reasonable difference in throttle response for 20 min of work.

Was checking out the IAT2's which peak at 130ish and stay around 105

code p0100 but no cel

OBD-II Trouble Code: P0100 Mass Air Flow (MAF) Circuit Malfunction

In my case my tune was ****. The previous tuner didn't max out the MAF freq in the Vtables. ( i think thats right)

Anyone recommend hptuners?? or should I just cough up and go to national speed?? I've heard lots of good things about those guys. . .lots of really expensive good things

I only want a mild tune. Just to accelerate smoother and can feel the tvs there when I want it

this car will only see track maybe once or twice (but still nervous about it having to last me a couple more years)

Tracking cars that you can't afford to have break is never a good idea
