I cant beleive he hasnt raced yet!!!!!!!!

 

Well heres the scoop, he said he couldnt race now. Said I would have to wait this spring!! I was sssooooo pissed off. He said that he had an offer about storing the car for winter that he couldnt pass up. I knew that was going to happend once he started stalling. I wonder if he os going to be stock comme spring time.

 

what a fruit loop! You should of punched him is his vigina or a good old kick in the gooch!

Well then, every time you see him, tell him how scared he is to race his big bad vette against your little dinky 4 banger slowbalt. And if he says any **** about how slow 4 bangers are, make sure you loudly let everyone in the area know he was scared to race you and hurried up to put his car into storage as an excuse.

 

haha, that would be a good ideal ^^^^^. Just not my style. No worries when spring commes up, he is going to be cruizing around town in his car. Small town and he likes to show off. And I'll find him and tell him, now;s the time. Then if he refuses he'll be a real *****.

06cobaltsss. Thanx for that post, if the balt wouldnt of been spinning the wheels, he would of deff pull on the vette. He was pulling some good at the end!.. That vette had an exhaust/intake and a coupe i think. The one I want to race is completely stock and convertible. Too many people think because its a vette it cant be taken by a cobalt, but in reality from a roll we can run/pull on the C5 if we are moddified!!

 

correct indeed doesnt take much moddifing tho ........ just much more "free" flowing

 

Was the cobalt starting to pull or was the vette slowing down a bit? If he was starting to pull, that is bad ass.

 

yeah he was pulling, I am almost certain that they left in his 1rst gear causing the balt to spin the wheels. If you pay close attention the vette gets to 4th gear before releasing and hes going 120 or so,,,, he wouldnt be allready in 5th gear at 120. So i think they did like a 20mph roll and the SS/SC deff spun, making him pull behind. Then the balt was pulling on vette!! that was BAS ASS!! nice post from 06cobalt Either way, the balt was deff pulling him for a bit!

 

Wow, that balt was catching up BAD! 10 more mph and the balt would have caught up and passed him

 

I know, I wasnt expecting him to catch up man. I thought he would be right there give or take, but not for him to fall behind, and just catch right back up to him!?

 

it's a fairly old clip actually but it's encouraging

 

its the only clip i saw of a SS vs vette. haha guess we'll have to take what we can have!! I am suprised more ppl havent race a C5 yet?? there are more videos of srt4's vs viper then us vs vette. And IMO we are closer to a vette than a SRT-4 to a viper?!?!

 

Find another stock vette and race him. I am sure there has to be another one in your area.
