If 350 hp is to much for our internals, how much can they hold before the srt's change their internals? Maybe I missed something but when they put on bigger turbos and other stuff they don't talk about changing internals. Sorry to steal the thread.

I thought twincharged was using a decent sized turbo...If I remember right he said it "pulls like a stg 3 SRT-4 in the lower rpms and feels like a big-turbo'd SRT-4 up top" or along those lines. I'm very impressed that he is running on stock internals..

the correct answer for the 77.9mm Pulley is 3.0669291 inches which would be a 3.1 inch Pulley

and for the 73mm Pulley....2.8740157 inches which obvously would be a 2.9 inch pulley

I'm impresses that he has decided to risk it.

All I was saying is that we "Protege" owners went through a similar phaze where we kept increasing and increasing. Everyone was running like 19 Psi on stock internals and loving it. Then One By one, they started to fail. Now 10 Psi is the upper accepted limit of the motor on stock internals.

The SC/SS has the SAAB motor which is strong by design, but it's being abused severly at 300 HP so, Tick Tock Tick Tock...

yeah but with his knowledge it's not an issue if he blows the bottom end out. he'll probably just build it up better and squeeze some extra hp out of it

This is from the sister site that is blocked out here, but it's a quote from Mike, one of the guys that worked at Psi-Fi along with Ant (anthony, who IS twincharged).
He was responding to

Anthony was being conservative when he said 350whp, and this (^^) is coming from a coworker who hasn't necessarily been gettin along with Anthony since Psi-Fi went down, but he's still praising the car that Anthony is tuning. BTW, he's using the same SMT6 that they used for the pully tune, and it's the same unit that RevItUp is usning for their pully kit.

First off Mark is the guy who said that quote and he is to this day one of my best friends. The car is running strong but not as strong as it will next week when I get the boost controller and traction bars installed. Right now the car shoots to 15psi and climbs linerly with RPM tp a peak of 20psi Good for traction but not good for maximum power. With the boost controller I can make the boost shoot to the target boost and stay there the entire RPM. I will 2 stage the boost based off the throttle position so that the last 1/4 will be high boost and the first 3/4 will be low boost for drivability and traction.

Note that they measure this at 5600rpm just like they did right from the start. (I believe) So that would bring it up to, ummm lets say, to 260? Would that make any sense? Same with torque at 6600.

They did take the motor apart and put new pistons, etc in it. They reused the factory blower though.

Twincharged find a good Mustang dyno, then dyno it at 300 + WHP and I will be impressed !!! Damn it's time to post some results !

The boost controller is due in early next week. I will gladly schedule dyno time after that. Of course that is assuming the clutch hold up. Right now the progressive power increase was easier on the clutch. After the MBC it is going to be more a of shock to the clutch.

I'm not wasting my money when I am just going to retune. This is why I have a rough tune on the car. I didn't bother to waste my time to tune it twice. I am happy with my results with nothing to prove to anyone at my wallet's expense. If someone wants to challenge me, I live in NJ just outside Philly. See you on the hiway.
