Mrb can be blunt, but he is very knowledgeable & a good guy. He has helped me many times, and will always take the time to make sure everything is ok. You just need to prove you took the time to research.

Some people can't handle the honest truth
yeah i get that, but i know for me personally, when my car gets a power boost, the speed limit isnt exactly in the forefront of my mind haha

Drive your car as you wish at your own risk....

If you don't have the proper supporting mods to run the car correctly issues may occur.

I always made sure I had everything required for my car to perform correctly before I made a new modification.

It's been a common occurrence on here lately with people not taking the time to mod their cars right. They want to do everything right away.

I agree everything the guy above me says. I only disagree in terms of dual pass... I noticed a world of difference in both recovery temps and overall ambient temperature. I think your best to just go with every bit of cooling you can afford. Most cooling mods are not hard to install either (if I can do it; anyone can do it). I would go with the ZZP Stage 3 Heat Exchanger, dual pass, and colder plugs (unless you already have that).

Do you have logs for each cooling mod you tested?

I would like to see them.

Same here.

Everyone seems to have an opinion on what works and what doesn't. It'd be nice to see some data on what is the most effective

Exactly.

I logged each of my cooling mods back in the day.

I didn't just say "hey, it looks like it's running cooler" like most of the people on here tend to do.

I've never logged... Honestly, I don't know how to...

Just from reading the Aeroforce first hand, I've seen advantages gained each time I've done an additional cooling mod.

Maybe there are a few, un-necessary mods I haven't done...

So far, I've done Opt B, Dual Pass, Front mount (S3), and Phenolic Spacer.

You can log via interceptor....

Just record a pull.

I had the exact cooling mods he listed and I can honestly say the phenolic spacer helped. I was tuned by SSKev and he is a very reputable tuner. He was amazed at how good my Iat2's were. He said mine had the coolest temps he had seen. It didn't heatsoak as fast. I had a TVS wit h a 2.8" pulley. I logged with my interceptor. Cruising temps were at 72-80şf. Full pull would go to 130ish and recoupe really fast

I'm not arguing about cooling mods.

I simply stated some cooling mods are not needed to achieve good temps.

Oh no, I agree with you. Even when I had just the 3 main things I was happy. Just route your hoses properly. Trust me, I found out the hard way.

To the OP, Staged07SS and MrB are very knowledgeable people and I would listen to what they have to say. Unfortunately I didn't do a before and after with the spacer but zrated89 did. He proved that it was worth the money.
