Hey guys I've had my SS/SC for about a month now and I absolutely love it! When I bought it the previous owner put a magnaflow exhaust on it, and it also has the stage 2 kit on it. The magnaflow system is pretty loud and I like it a lot. But I want to hear the supercharger more. I know that in order for this to happen I need to get an intake, and I wanted one anyway for performance purpose. My question is what would you guys recommend for the best results? I was thinking about getting the injen CAI. I have heard good things about it, and it is at a good price.

 

I'd recommend the zzp one. Injens are most known to throw codes.

The first gen Injens threw codes.

They fixed that though.

I had one on my car for a bit. Infact, I had a lot of different air intake setups.

Personally, I recommend a modified airbox over those bling bling pipes, but purchase the one you like/can afford.

They all do the same thing, increase whine, and give a few hp. Nothing magical.

 

Get zzp intake its loud as ****, my friend has the airbox mod and mine is alot louder.

Thanks for your input everyone! Just wanted to hear what everyone thought, this helped me out. And sound isn't all I am worried about, I just like the supercharger whine on the highway. I love my balt.
