I would just charge it up to 20psi. If the gauge starts dropping pressure quickly you've got a leak and gotta track it down....if you can't hear it leaking that is. Alex's tester has a gauge right on it so you can see the pressure.

The water/meth injection thing would be a good idea, but my worry would be if you mixed it in with the water system, it would water it down too much that you wouldn't be able to see it. Also, I'm still uncertain as to whether or not it would bog out the engine and possibly cause some damage. Also, this method would only work out for ppl who do have meth/water injection. Kyle doesn't have it, and I know quite a few others who dont. I still think the dyno way would be the best way.

i was using meth injection as an example. you could simply take the intake off and spray some through the throttle body when reving the engine up.

Unfortunately, no you can't. If you disconnected the intake from the tb at WOT you'd skew the MAF and the engine would go into REP, thus defeating the whole purpose of the test. Now, pulling the breather tube for the valve cover off the intake and spraying in there would work...

Holy ****, it's like I don't even need to post. Mike is doing it for me.

Listen, the best way to test this **** easily is to VISUALLY INSPECT and reconnect all vac lines. Pull the injectors and see if your injector bucket o ring is messed up or not sealing. DO NOT pull the intake off and try running the car.... Then spray starter fluid if all hoses are seated right and not cracked.

All of his vac lines should be perfectly fine cuz they're all basically brand new from gettin the new engine so I highly doubt hes getting a leak in any of them, though it is still quite possible.

there is a pcv tube for your intake and you can just take that off and spray through there

Alright u can do the uv dye. I just used the ac uv dye and after I found my issue I just ran water with the sprayer nozzle through the breather hose like I stated in a previous post in this thread. I took the hose off and put a turkey needle in it with about three tables spoons of the dye in the intake and let it sit with about 1 table spoon of water and turned the car on the car did not bog until I went to wot and it was fine after a second after that. I came back home after a 3 min run and checked and I had dye co
coming out out of my bypass hoses (both) my boost solonoid hoses so I got new vaccum lines and sip ties and I am boosting at 19-20 at 7000rpm but I am gonna do max boost to 17.5 So it can be done

How did u test it out. There is three potlrts on for the vaccum line to come in from intake manifold then the second from solonoid to bypass and there is the vent for excess air to come out has hr sponge thing on it. Put a vaccum line on it and a bolt onthe end of that line so there will be no leaks drive it and see if u get any more boost

Yeah I took off the back Line and shoved a glow plug in it, I also had the bypass replaced and I also plug the line from the blower to the bypass also and it still did it

well with some hasseling issues finally got the cat done under warrenty and wideband put back in....feels more responsive and a little bit more power...but not much and still only running 14 maybe 15 psi..

but i was thinking about just pressurizing the system with a smoke machine we have a work to look..
