it should make about 9000ft of torque @1250rpm 45psi of boost from 4 turbos

 

But you know what's funny the engine weighs 15,000 pounds.. Realistically I don't even have to chain it down on the dyno. Cuz it doesn't put out enough torque to move itself.

 

it makes you wonder where the line is you cross over and start making power just because the engine is so big rather than the power needed to move the object. if that makes any sense..

ya it could make way more power but the engine has to maintain the same power level for 5000 hours total run time.

 

no i mean like, when do you reach the point where you have to make more power cause the engine weighs so much. but making more power warrants bigger/heavier parts and you just get going in a circle and it becomes more about massive power to overcome the engines weight vs massive power because of what the engine is going in.

 

that is only applicable if the engine is used to move itself and the equipment its in (truck, HE, Heavy Duty earth movers) doesnt matter if this runs a generator, drives factory machinery, etc.
