Hey what Tensioner + Belt configuration can i use with a 2.7inch SC pulley

i just recently purchased one from another member here and in process of picking up injectors.

so was wondering if i need a oversized tensioner pulley, if so what size?

Or will it be fine with a stage II belt, or do i need both.

let me know, on account of was about to buy 3inch tensioner.

You should be alright with a 2.7 and the stage 2 belt. Im using a 2.8 and ive had no slippage, and it was still tough to get on...

I *think* you should be fine.

 

I run a 2.7" on a Stage 2 belt and stock tensioner. If the belt is worn or stretched, you will get belt slip. If it is a new belt you should be fine. If it slips buy an oversized tensioner pulley or adjustable tensioner...

What size is the Stage 2 belt? I have a 2.8" on the way

 

Here's a sample if idler pulleys I make. This is a set for the supercharger idler/tensioner side. They will also probably fit the Cobalt if anyone would like oversized tensioner pulleys.

Ive been running my 2.79" pulley with the stage 2 belt for over a year now with no problems.Youll be fine with the stage 2 belt.
