Your boost seems fine around 15 or so if your on stock exhaust. Throw some nice 235's on if you are having trouble with traction and get some trans mounts. My car on the TVS with a 2.9 on E85 on nitto NT555 235's hooks up at least half the time in 2nd gear, so with some half decent tires you should never have a problem hooking in 2nd.

And for people who say the stock clutch cant handle power, its all in how you drive. My stock clutch has never slipped and it has 46000 miles on it, half of which it have been over 260whp and a few thousand on well over 300whp, along with 27 track passes

You dont need a torque damper with the mounts. And right now the stage one mounts are the same price or cheaper than a TD and worlds better. I would go pick up some ottp mounts and call it a day.

don't they make it a bit of a rougher right though? like more cab vibration? I know the cursed peice of **** orange cobalt i had had solid tranny and engine mounts and it vibrated like a lonely night for a woman haha, but it had also been wrecked a handful of times from the previous owner

Honestly they arent bad at all. I had poly mounts before and going to these ottp ones felt like I went back to stock as far as vibrations.

I'm pretty sure mine slips on occasion, but if it's a good shift then it's a good hold.
