Turbo Duck (LSJ) 2.o

Sleeves are done, will go into the machine shop tomorrow. My other thread is here. The main page is not up to date because it quit letting me edit it for some reason, but here is what led up to my build.

How much boost are you wanting to run on that 20g turbo?

Its quoted by a few to be 500 but I wouldnt trust that number. I would say 400-450 with an excellent spool. Reaches full boost at 3500ish. Lots of power and low boost lag. I am shooting for 420 on E85 with 80lb injectors.

Ahhh I would say more than 420 on E85, especially if you can get hooked up with the right guys on here that know their **** about tuning.

At this point I just want my car back on the road. But I figure I will low boost and tune it at 15 psi to start. Then go for it after I have had it broken in for a while. That will also split up the dyno time on the car and keep it cheaper in the short term.

Did I mention there is an awesome chassis dyno at my local Chevy dealership. This is going to be fun.

Didn't think the 20g was up to the task of 400whp. Some one asked if I was interested in one and I can't remember who now.

Must be nice lol Im going for ZZPs turbo swap with a 256et and 80s on 20-24psi. I just like that your doing ALL OF THIS on your own, even the tuning. And I am in for some resultz. So how much longer do we have to wait lol

Yeah, its not as easy as say the 256 extended tip. But there is a reason those ET turbos are making big power and they cost 700-1000 dollars.

On E85 there are a ton of 20g turbos in subarus and EVO's making well over 400. If you are on 93 octane I wouldnt give it much more than 360-380 wheel. That is why I am burning CORN!

I'm running meth. Maybe I should go with the s252et. I don't plan on modding my block so I feel like going with the s256et will be wasted potential in the long run.

Whatever you decide dont run your car to the ragged edge. I am building so I dont have to pull the engine apart again and I am keeping the goal hp conservative for my build so I get a lot of use out of my car.

just for refference i made 350whp 345whp on 19psi on the 20g. so am pretty sure adding 5psi, E85, and decent tunning 410-420whp can be achieved.

Build is coming up great man! Good luck and keep it up!

20g (hahns) td06 compressor cover with a 52.5mm in wheel and a td05h wheel for quick spool and 10cm2 as well.. This turbo flows 650ish cfm and is capable of max 500chp aka 460/470whp .. This is with the help of e or meth.. The actual pump is 400-450 depending on boost level and tune...

Yeah but at least in his case, the weak point in his build is the turbo. So that being said it should be an easy swap out when you do want more power. Sub'd
