have you ever heard of someone throwing a rod on these cars ? no the stock rods will suffice for what steve is doing. only time someone has a rod issue is when they installed them
true i'm just under the do it once school of thought.. and i figured the price of stock rods vs zzp rods isn't all that much
zzp h-beams - $450+shipping (proven to just sub of 900whp) (on back order)
I look @ it like this... Max I could get out of a TVS out here was 334whp/295ft lbs. If I can muster another 50-80whp and have a reliable setup around 400whp... I'll be plenty happy.
The idea with this build is to take a 25 psi setup and turn it into a 15 psi setup with my head port and cam combo. If I can get a hold of another tvs 1900 is a a good question, may just be on the hunt for a 1320, leave it on a stock 3.1" pulley and rev it as far as it will make power.
In the last few dyno sessions I've done with a variety of blowers, I feel the smaller pulley just isn't necessary unless you enjoy spinning tire. Given if I do engage in any sort of roll race, I don't wanna spin tire because peak torque is at the initial hit of the run.
on a ATI DAMPENER, 8K LIMIT AND 3.1... I'll hit 17,496.xx rpm
Should put me around 10-14 psi?

Just out of curiosity, what all had to be done to adapt the 1900 to the LSJ?.....or is it proprietary? haha
I plan on getting the ZZP 2.4 LSJ in a month or so. I have a ported head (don't know about 2" exhaust ports haha, but its ported) with ZZP S3 cams. It'd be awesome to get one of these to finish off the build.
Regardless, I'm definitely in for results!
