It put down 290 whp the tq was low at only 250 lbs wich is due to the full 3" exhaust and no cat. ill have the sheet in a few days and it was on a mustang dyno wich i hear reads low so i dont know.i thought it would do better.

Only if you expect to dyno higher than 300 on pump gas.

That's what I've been saying and getting mocked for.

I think people can learn a lot from this thread and others like it. Pay attention to what people make with mods and expect the same thing. It's not a lie, it's not controversial or doesn't have to be. It's just common sense and intelligence.

Didn't you only hit like 235whp with a 2.8 and 60s on the M62? Not saying it's the tuner, but those are low numbers for the M62 and now the TVS.

it's the stock pulley. Expecting OMG REDICULOUS NUMBERS isn't LIKELY to happen on a 3.15" pulley. How much power do people typically put down with the m62 on a 3.15" pulley? 250 maybe on the high side with 220tq maybe? I'd say 280-290whp with 250+wtq sounds about right.

Pulley down and get aggressive with the tune if you want more power.

300+ is do-able on the stock pulley. Stock pulley pushes 18-20 psi of boost(I know boost doesn't equal power). Where people aren't getting the numbers, at least in my opinion is scaling the MAF.

If you really want to see results run the meth.

Hot Rod mag could learn a few things from people on this forum.
considering that hot rod got comp cams, and i called to order some and they have no cores, **** that ****, comp sucks........

it's not even getting aggressive, the tuning for the tvs just takes time to get right, more time than most are willing to give into the process.

So true. From what I keep seeing on here most people throw it on, get pissed because they are under 300 then scrap the blower.

no, it's because some people don't want to cook the dyno brakes, nor have insane down time between pulls waiting for the iat2's to come back down.

The first time I went to dyno my car, they wouldn't do a pull in 4th gear since one of the guys said our gearing past second is long as ****. So I've just gotten used to the 3rd gear pulls.

I made within 1 hp from third to a fourth. Its not for higher numbers its darn close to a wash.

area knows what he is talking about, thats what he does,me i know nothing about tunning a computer controlled car .I can tune the hell out of a carbed car. Area if you can tell me why my numbers are so low i will paypal you some cash. I dont think anyone around here were i live can tune this car the right way . i know the timing is about right, the afr is about right,i know he took off the piston pertection but thats about all i can tell you until i get the dyno charts from them, i left the car their for the clutch install and axle install,i can do it but the price they gave me ,plus they have a lift i told them to go ahead and do it .$ 375.00 to install my clutch and axles i thought was a good deal, plus my garage is tied up with a few cars i have to work on anyway.

Ah someone that has a clue! Thank you, as I have verified only a 2whp difference myself.

I prefer to dyno in third because if I'm running the car and there is a problem with the tune like KR or it's lean the pull is over faster. Back to Back I've seen no variation in peak HP but in 4th I get more power over curve because the turbo spools faster.
