so i went to get it and the sensor they had is a 3 prong and not 4, wtf? i tried everyone in town and its all 3 prong. i looked at the parts on parts train and they are all 3 prong. wtf is goin on with all this?

...thats the sensor that goes in the blower snout, and you need/want the one in the manifold

well the one in the manifold aint a map sensor lol i learned this from all my research. its a temp air charge sensor. you can only get it from the dealer i guess

Yes/No, its a TMAP. a MAP sensor that also reads temperature. You can get it from any vendor that sells it really, as it is sold worldwide as a bosch part.

found out that auto zone carries them, their part number is SU8254

Bump from the dead.

Does any one know if the wiring that connects to the tmap is the engine harness? If not what is the part number for the wiring. I fucked mine up when I installed my tvs and now it's giving me grief.

Yes it is part of the engine harness. Do you just need a new connector to connect to the TMAP?

If so you can just get one of the pigtails that the LNF guys use for the GMS1 sensor and splice it into the wiring.

This should work:

Amazon.com: ACDelco PT1863 Crankshaft Position Sensor Connector: Automotive

Nevermind that it says crankshaft position sensor, that is the same connector as the TMAP. Its part number PT1863.

Very...Not Needed for one broken sensor connector, replace it, connect the wires together, dont use quick connects please, solder if ur worried about connectivity, and use eletrical tape and ur set
