tvs installed do i need fule pump
jamse you are still working you are on vacation !!!!! just doing my home work. like i told tundraboarder666 the car runs great. you are the man it's unbelievable what you have done for my car. i have the tb on the way. and working on the other parts.
no because the injectors arent running up to their limit, the fuel pump cant supply enough fuel to the rail so fuel pressure drops and the fuel injectors are flowing less fuel. the fuel maps can be tuned so the injectors will see 100% dc, its still not going ot help get the afr down.
Lol im just doing my homework as well glenn lol.... But yes it does the same thing in neutral as well no throttle idles like ****. If u say put it in drive and then drive it for a bit then put it back in park its fine but if u put the throttle down i. Park or in neutral or in reverse the car litterally runs like ****.. The ltft and stfts go wack and theres no reason.i put a maf sensor is theres a new ecm. And it started when gm put the flash on the car but gm said the car was ok and blah blah blah.. So we are having to figure it all out. I say its either the t.b or the flash or even both...
Okay did you try turning the AC on like I said before to see if it makes a difference? because I have this exact same issue on my car right now. Chris (my tuner) knows how to fix it, just wanna see if you have the same problem or not too.
Lol his car is a auto not a manual. Loll... I know he posted in the lsj section but its a 2.2 auto. The car only dies if u give it gas in park if u have been driving it. Idle is the sameif u dont.
I just know that the throttle body will open up more for when the AC is on. I'm HPTuned and have the same issue at idle. It's funny because he didn't even mess with the fuel trims in idle last time. the car would keep choking in those same gears and then I left the ac on and put it into park and it idled perfectly fine. so he changed the scaling of the throttle body to the same as it would be when the AC is on and it will fix it. Just throwing it out there.
Lol the idle is fine the issue is u dont have throttle at all and if u press thr throttle thays whwn the.car dies lol. Theres no idle hunting and ect..... I know what im doing its somthing like a bad gm flash they put onto the car since that was when it started or a bad t.b.....
Lmao yep ok. ive tuned to many auto 2.2s and this is the only one that had this issue. (after the gm flash) .... We took it back to gm and they said it was normal. Hahahahahahahaha funny........ Im not saying u dont know wut ure doing but but im not gonna rig up his idle so he has to use ac to make it correct in neutral and park.......... It has nothing to do with ac. Raisingth ac idle wont fix anything. That is not fixing the issue just letting u have more throttle. ..... And not throttle u can play with... U happen to know theres about 5-7 tsbs out for this issue along with the tranny. If not you will see the issue is either a gm flash. .. The internal clutch. The force motor. And ect......
so explain!!!
Alright i know what ure talking about ure advice is seen and heard but its not the same issue as u.. Heres why.. His cars idle isnt off at all fuel trim wise its close to 0% when i left it. So with ure car is thr fuel trims werent changed and needed it then ure issue could possibly be that. I can raise his all around idle if i wanted to to open the throttle without having ac on. If he were to turn the ac on it will do the same thing. I can change his airflow and ect and it will still do it. The tsbs i have seen lead to somthing with the flash gm put to it or a isue inside the tranny... When we got it back from gm it was doing it but it didnt do it when we gave it to them. So with the issue in hand and all the how the **** did this happens. Conclusions are issue with gm or issue with the t.b.. I get what ure saying. I am not mad. Im tanking into consideration what u are saying. I mean if you feel i dont understand what ure saying then say what your issue actually was cuz u havent....

2.2 should have a schrader valve, hook a fuel pressure tester to it and go take it wot, if pressure drops off then its obviously the pump.
wonder if the neutral safety switch somehow ties into the tb would have to check a schematic

Okay you do see what I'm saying. My idle isn't off at all either is the thing... its within 1%. I just found it extremely weird When I had the AC on one very hot day and went to put the car in park and it didn't lose throttle. At all I can still get on it in park. Normally if I try and get on the throttle ill see the afraid change a bit but no response as far as rpms go. Ill try and take a video if this isn't explanitory enough.
