The pulley where the supercharger goes directly down. And you can see it on the pulley. Without a belt you could see the shiney part of the pulley where the belt would be.

Wasn't this priced somewhere near $8000 and $10,000? What the hell is the point in it? For that much you could bullet proof your internals and do a twin screw. Plus SS/SC owners wouldn't have to change their decals...

There is no way some pipe, a manifold, and something like a t3 turbo, will cost $8k.

There was a thread over the summer where the company that was doing this said that they estimate that it would be at least over $8,000 total.

That was Gravana, they abandoned that project as far as I know.

They reported having to move around components in the engine compartment.

What you see in this thread is a simplified turbo system that feeds the blower. I get the feeling that Gravana was full of it.

There's a lot more to twin charging then just adding a turbo system guys. That's what costs a lot of money. I think a modified M62 setup or a M90 or twin screw swap would be more realistic.

They probably had a falling out with GM and used the project as an excuse to abandon their relationship.

Or realized the money pit in which they were creating. If the actual demand for a product is lower then the cost to design and manufacture, why bother.

1) Stage III from sema is only 264.
2) 355 ...only on race fuel. Actaully 310.
3) If thats your thinking stage III is 340 with NOS.
4) Twincharging (guessing) should easily be over 300.

Just a few points.

There is a company that is twincharging the mini cooper S and it is like $6000 installed. They dynoed it at 250HP to the wheels with a stock exhaust on a 1.6 and tiny intercooler.

Total waste of money. With the money spent you could do forged pistons/rods and a TS.

Okay add more piping, more installtion fees, and more expensive computer tuning equipment.

Mini is a BMW based company so that would be more expensive. Not the chevy
the only extra pricing would be of there was a front mount intercooler.

Dont forget when ppl are the first to do something they're probably gonna charge alot and from what i have been reading this setup isnt as complicated as other setups so i guess we'll just have to wait and see.
