Just saw the specs, lol good guess on my parts, make that in a 1.6 and you'll have all sorts of interest.

If I could get an MP90 or a TVS or a (whatever higher flowing SC you want to name) for the same price or cheaper than this twin screw, why would I get it?

I'm not sayin you should or shouldnt, but dont bash it man until further testing is performed. Its good to see that people still want to offer upgraded blowers for us SS/SC guys ya kno?

^I wish I had your blower lol

I understand wanting to offer us more SC options but it says that the setup is good for cars in the 300hp range. I can't see anyone spending that much on the blower (alone) to make less power than a TVS for the same price

True, but lets see what happens

P.S. The H62 is a wonderful blower. To bad they didnt make more of them, or put them into production.

Its night and day more efficient than the stocker. Even way more efficient than a tvs.

Takes less hp to drive. Makes less heat.

And who said the only option was going to be the stock size

We will also have a larger unit for the higher hp people. just don't want everyone to feel like bigger is always better. there are guys running 1.3l tvs but will run faster with the 1 L twin screw. Just because of the effincty and the mid range the extra hp it takes to dive the unit.

I think most people will be shocked how much extra hp some people will make going from a m62 with a 2.7 pulley to a 1L (57 ci) twinscrew with the same size pulley. Remember the iat will be dramatically lower most peoples pully sizes is limited to compressor heat than the raw x psi.

Then iof course the max effort guys people looking into turbo swaps etc are more than likely going to want the 1.46L version.

My juices are flowing now. How much HP would the 1.46L hold up to?

against comparable twin screws that size, with a ported head 400 whp should be achievable

Maybe I'm way off but I dont think so. Isnt a roots type blower a twinscrew? Centrifugal is the other type

All of the comparisons i've seen.. a twin screw really shines over 14psi compared to a roots or tvs type..

However, I'd like to see real world results showing the 1L making more power than a 1.3 tvs.. seems like a stretch..

I too would like to see a comparison, but I have heard the volumetric eff for a twin screw far surpasses a roots style blower in high boost applications

Roots / TVS paddle air through the housing and it's compressed in the intake.. Twin screw blowers start the compression in the blower housing itself
