Looks like the chain dragged something up and it escaped. Broken chain guide bolt?

The plug well gaskets probably need replaced. That would be my guess on how oil is in there.

I think the main concern right now should be the chain. Take that valve cover off. The valve cover seal probably got grenaded as well when the chain flipped out. Take it off!

So I found where the bolt came from. It's from the plastic guide for the timing chain on the right side closer to the super charger. It's a grayish color in the pic under the chain. It was loose when I was trying to move it. Do I really need to replace that chain guide? What should I do?

How would I replace that bolt? I would have to take off the chain and **** to get under that chain and gears. It a guide for the chain so would I need to replace the guid or it would be ok without the bolt?

need to replace the chain guide that the bolt goes through too.......looks like it's broken also.

hopefully you can get the rest of the bolt out of the block easily.

Plus I'm using my phone since cobaltss.net has an app. So it's different from the actual site on a computer!

Is that hard to do? Looking at it seems like it's a pain in the ass to do.

Looks like the rest of that bolt is going to have to be extracted. Looks like some of the bolt broke off when it came loose?
