Weird problem

Ok. so i got the zzp stage 3 installed about three weeks ago. It works great, except i was taking my cousin for a ride and i was in 3rd and around 5k it felt like something was slipping and my check engine light blinked 3 times and went off. It also did it in 4th gear about the same rpms. what is it?

Sounds like a maf problem. Any one have hptuners around you that could help you out? You should get your afr checked out either by a wideband purchase (recommended) or get to a dyno and get a readout of it. In my experience the "falling flat on its face" comes from a rich spike.

The blinking cel is a misfire iirc.

Did you make sure to oil up the injectors orings when installing them? If not it may not be getting a good enough seal. Also check all of your vacuum lines as if they are cracked or have holes in them it could be causing the problem. Did the check engine light stay on or is it off. If so check the code and find out the issue.
