I'm hitting about 18-19 psi on my 2.7

 

very important factor hear, have you ever looked to make sure your interceptor says 0.0 boost when the car is off?

you need to tweak the altitude setting till it registers zero...

and in other words if your running true GM stage 2 you cant hit past 15psi ecm wont let you (unless you have a bad bypass vlv)

Yes i have checked that..i set it to straight boost. not the boost/vac so when i turn my car off it says 0.0 and when i turn it back on it still says 0.0 untill i actually start driving or rev the motor. on a side note i did buy my car with 16K miles on it..so the previous owner of my car could of did somthing more to it im not sure. i have beaten many other stage 2 cobalts ive kept up with retuned ones also. not saying that makes any diffrents cuz there so many factors in that(my car and opposing car), that saying taht wouldnt justify anything. but i have checked that. But like i stated previous owner could of gave it a retune or somthing?..(maybe?..dont call me a noob if im wrong). All i do know is that it came with a stage 2 belt pully and an intake and the dealer ship said it was "stage 2". and it also had an intake on it when i bought it.could it be possable that the first owner did somthing to it first?.
