What should i expect from the ZZP S3

So i want to pulley down again and go either 2.7 or 2.8. I currently have no cooling mods on the car, iat2 temps are pretty good and never go over 150 with my current 2.9.

What could i expect the zzp s3 to bring my temps too? And is starting with just the zzp s3 good enough to pulley down to a 2.8. I plan on doing option B, dual pass and Meth in Jan Just need to know if i would see a change in temps with the s3 and if pulleying down is safe.

From my experience when i installed my heat exchanger and dual pass at the same time it didn't actually lower my intake temps but made them rise slower during a pull and recover much quicker. Driving down the highway i noticed about a 10 degree cooler difference. It was when i put in my meth that i noticed actual cooler temps. It sits 120-130 after a pull.

Thats what I thought it would do, fend off heat buildup and cool down better. After XMAS Ill probably throw on the S3 myself

That is what i was trying to say, was looking for it to recover faster.

Now is it safe to pulley down with the the s3 and go down to a 2.7-2.8?

I ran my 2.8" for half the summer with no cooling mods. My temps were about 160* after a pull. You will never have an issue. Just not as much power as you could.

Have you ever run yours yet? Heading to island this firday night to see what mine does. Hoping for a 13.2 to 13.4. I have not run it since i was tuned by BYT. Then hopefully he can do some tweaking for me later this week when i pulley down again and add the zzp s3. I am looking for mid 12's with my car, that would be my goal when it get done. Just gonna keep adding until i get there.
