It really is so easy to twincharge I don't understand why more don't do it. You have complete control of the supercharger bypass valve with HPTuners, so there is no need to give yourself a headache with compounding the boost.

His name was Jesse. He's not a member here or any other forum for that matter.
Exactly! For my Matrix project Im going to use the AEM FIC to control the bypass valve, Im hoping that will work well!

The boost reduction table in 1st gear and remaining gears only starts at 4000rpms. So you really can't control the SC before that. At least that I am not aware of.
I think that is the main reason why ZZP recommends running a 256, 256et or 259et on their twincharge setups. Those turbos typically take a while to spool compared to the 252et.
So when selecting a turbo for a twincharge kit you really want to look for something that comes to full spool around 3750 rpms.

I'm going to be using a Holset H1E. Spools in the late 4k on DSMs. 60mm Inducer, 82mm exducer. Makes for a 53.5 trim. Directly comparable to the s362et. Should work perfect on a twincharged car. I got a lot of headwork also, and will be using zzp cams. God I can't wait to get back and put it all together.

I know the guy pretty well. He lives about half hour from me. I saw him friday night at a little meet and when he took off it sounded like a rocket with that dump tube. The car is stupid fast. I plan on doing the kit over the winter. Prolly going to be the only 2 kits in NY!
