I heard from a kid at the track a little while ago "last year" lol that he didnt like it at all, he said the belt squeaked so much so he took it out but that was only one kid so you might have better luck with it.

I can't see why the belt would squeak unless it was not positioned correctly on all of the pulleys after changing the tensioner. He may have just overlooked this. It's easy to have it off a rib on one of the pulleys since it's not easy to see all of them in the Cobalt.

I am running it. It works great I had a 2.7 pulley on my m62 prior to going to TVS 2.9 and it works fine.

I've had mine since early 2007 and i've never had a problem with it before. It looks just like the stock piece installed except you pick which hole to stick the bolt in depending on which pulley you run

I ran mine on the middle one with my 2.6 but I also ran the stage 2 belt so I'm not sure about the stock belt

well i got on oversized tensioner pulley and stage 2 belt lol! reason i picked this up is cuz it was cheaper than finding another one and mine is busted where it connects to the bracket.

Deff a better thing to get over the tensioner tool. You use a t50 socket to get the belt off instead of the ghey notch and it eliminates belt slip. Mine is squeaking I am thinking due to the belt being old and being removed and installed so much it prolly finally is giving way. Time for a new stage 2 belt.
