The thing about changing air intakes is some companies move the MAF sensor housing.
When you change the size or location of the MAF housing you should usually adjust for this in a tune, although most tunes can adjust for this small change in airflow.
You should be fine since you are already running a ZZP tune.

thank you all for the input. after doing some research i think i am going to go with the k&n and make it a short ram. I am really worried about water getting bogged in the engine.

If you buy the K&N is comes with a hydroshield which helps prevent water from soaking the filter. Not to mention the oil on a K&N filter helps repel water as well.
I've tested a couple different cold air intakes on my car, and never had an issue with water. Just don't drive through a 2 ft puddle and you will be fine.

My car hated the dryflow when I had the AEM unit. Anytime it would rain it would seem ( not driving through puddles, just general driving ) I couldnt go WOT, it would bog down and backfire and act all weird.
Only oiled filters for me from now on.

I had an injen hydro shield on my AEM dryflow for the short time I ran it. That prob helped, because I remember people have similar issue as you described Kev.

I put the intake ( RAW ) on my car about 4 years ago, and havnt touched it since, lol. I take care of every other part of my car except the MAF, and the filter. Probably time I replaced the filter and cleaned the Maf.... but man its such a pain in the ass to get to....
