no, stock sleeves, will take a look at them prior to honing. If everything checks out, theyll stay.

Transmission is by no means weak, its all driver. Yeah i dont blame u on sleeves, my bud back home says he can get me a deal with them, but god it seems like such a long drawn out expensive hassle

If anything, purchase a GMPP clutch, but to this day I still have no issue with the stock clutch (48k and counting).

QFT. Grabs like a **** tho.
I drove my friend's SC with a stock clutch, pedal feels like a marshmallow compared to ACT cars.

Exactly how I feel.

I remember the reverse out of my driveway after I installed the ACT kit.. Car rocketed backwards in reverse, no throttle.

The thing about changing air intakes is some companies move the MAF sensor housing.

When you change the size or location of the MAF housing you should usually adjust for this in a tune, although most tunes can adjust for this small change in airflow.

You should be fine since you are already running a ZZP tune.

You have it listed as such in your sig.... ZZP S2 kit.

Regardless what tune it is, it should adjust, and compensate for the little bit of added airflow you may get from the CAI.

thank you all for the input. after doing some research i think i am going to go with the k&n and make it a short ram. I am really worried about water getting bogged in the engine.

Do not make it a short ram....

If you buy the K&N is comes with a hydroshield which helps prevent water from soaking the filter. Not to mention the oil on a K&N filter helps repel water as well.

I've tested a couple different cold air intakes on my car, and never had an issue with water. Just don't drive through a 2 ft puddle and you will be fine.

My car hated the dryflow when I had the AEM unit. Anytime it would rain it would seem ( not driving through puddles, just general driving ) I couldnt go WOT, it would bog down and backfire and act all weird.

Only oiled filters for me from now on.

I never had an issue with the AEM dryflow other than it flowing less air than a K&N of equal size.

I had an injen hydro shield on my AEM dryflow for the short time I ran it. That prob helped, because I remember people have similar issue as you described Kev.

I put the intake ( RAW ) on my car about 4 years ago, and havnt touched it since, lol. I take care of every other part of my car except the MAF, and the filter. Probably time I replaced the filter and cleaned the Maf.... but man its such a pain in the ass to get to....
