On a side note, never once have I had a shipping problem from ZZP, thanks to ZZP for awesome order process turn around...
UPS picks up the packages from them. Your order has been processed, it just has not been picked up from them yet. And don't you even say for them to drop it off somewhere.

Maybe you should try contacting us instead of complaining on the forums......

Hooking up a regulator on the bottom of the gate will do exactly what you said, because when it is turned down, it does not allow enough boost through to open the gate. When it's turned up, it lets enough boost through to open the gate and it will run the same as running with the gate alone.

Your boost controller is fine. Sell it, or send it back for in store credit.

It's not even defective. It was installed incorrectly.

It seems to me that you don't hold yourself responsible for any part of your build. You really need to be able to do so if you want to have a successful build without having it all done at a reliable shop.
Funny that you guys (Turbo Tim) had to call Scott yesterday and try to find out what was going on. And Tim, if you're going to talk trash to my friends (yes Scott is a friend) about me at least get your facts straight instead of dispelling lies. I did not start this thread as you suggested, my situation was brought up by a third party and you guys decided to continue your quest at you have done nothing wrong and everything is the customers fault (I let that other thread on RLF go stagnant because it's obvious ignorance was involved on either you or your company's part). Good business practice, really guys, stellar. OK, so the boost controller was installed incorrectly? Which might be understandable if every configuration wasn't tried, new lines installed, etc. ****, instructions or some chicken scratch on a Wendy's napkin would have sufficed for instructions, but none was included. You assume that the people purchasing your parts have some sort of telepathy or ESP to know how parts you design and use should be installed, I'm sorry I do not share those qualities as some of your other customers must have. I'm sorry I didn't want to drive out to ZZP and get a hyped on what you guys could do if I spent $10k on parts and possibly overnight some parts from Spring Hill (some of you might understand the FnF).

So, after my repeated attempts at asking any of you to PM me to continue the conversation further you feel the need to come out here and start, then call my friends and start talking trash about me to them. So let me ask you this, what was the excuse for the intake and not sending boots and clamps? What was the excuse about the DP and not sending me the V-band clamp as I requested? Why was my REDLINE SPECIFIC exhaust that I ordered SOLD to someone else (probably with an SS/SC) because you guys were waiting on a part to ship my order out complete? So some SS/SC got my REDLINE exhaust and I got their SS/SC exhaust and had to have it cut and welded, hangers replaced, etc. Yea, Tim offered to ship it (the expensive cat-back) back free of charge and have you guys fix the issue. AFTER he insisted that he had done nothing wrong for 2 days on the phone and that the SS/SC exhaust should bolt right up to my REDLINE. Do you really think I wanted to ship anything back to you so I can hear all of your insisting that I don't know what I'm talking about with my exhaust being different from an SS/SC? Then I keep calling and calling only to receive your machine when I try to inquire about my parts, or get told from a female that works there that Tim doesn't take calls on Mondays because his calling hours are Tuesday through Friday (are you F'n serious)? It took me 6 weeks from the time I ordered my parts to receive anything. Then, at week 4 or 5 (I'm sorry I can't remember exact dates at the moment although I have every e-mail correspondence) Tim told me that he sold my exhaust and was waiting for another one to be made so he could ship out the entire order. I'm sure if YOU were the customer you could understand my frustrations to have the shop open the box only to go WTF, where are all the parts needed that should have come with the order (as previously mentioned). AND then when you inquire about what happened you get an answer of "I'm sorry I ever took this order, I should have never sold you those parts". I'm sorry Tim, was it too much for me to expect to have all of the parts I ordered shipped to me complete, right?

I never asked to be brought into this or tried to be made an example of any kind. I have already talked to the other party and I would hope you guys would as well, just let it be. I know you're a paying vendor (well at least Zooomer is) and nothing will be done to you, because you pay to keep this site alive. I'm not going to respond to anything else on this subject, because quite frankly it's childish that it has come to this from. It's unacceptable behavior from a vendor and from a customer. Like I said previously, if you want to discuss it further you can e-mail me, call me, PM me.

I want to leave you on one more question, I promise it won't be hard or require anything further than a pre-k education (as simple yes or no would suffice). Are you going to make the F'n projectors for the Ions or not?

Wow, you are something else. As far as the intake not including those parts, we don't have the turbo intake on our site. It is not a product that we sell. Who decides what comes with it when you make a special request?

As far as not having instructions, you don't seem to understand the concept of building your own kit. If you purchased a complete kit from us, it would have boost control instructions, etc... It appears to me that you want to save money by building your own kit, yet you want to hold someone else responsible for the results. I'm sorry, but it just doesn't work that way. It is hard enough for us to keep track of our own builds and projects. We can't over-see your build as well.

On the projectors, Zoom has said many times that we would need 100 orders. Without 100 people willing to pre-pay, then we will not be making them.

Tim,

Quick questions on that invoice.

5. Is the boost controller the Hallman pro that I want or is it a generic?

6. Is the downpipe a 3” a V-band for the turbo?

7. Does the intake pipe include the filter and coupler?

8. The wastegate is the Tial with a 13 or 15psi spring?

Joe

If that was the case, you should have contacted someone and asked for the parts.

No the mounts I'm selling are the 'poly mounts' that everyone knows them by. They are stock SS/SC mounts with the poly inserts. Check my FS thread in my sig for pics.

TTR STOP Mounts. 100's of sets sold, only 1 complaint of a bushing issue, which we replaced for him. This shows customer service as we took care of our customer, quickly.

Everyone has a failure every now and again (stuff happens), we have seen threads on all brands.

IMO just pick the one YOU like best.

Summed up well. I like that you didn't try to put any of the others down and talk up how yours was soooooooooo much better. Just told the experience you have had with the product that you produce. He his correct despite the differences between brands from what I have found they all get the job done.

ZZP has sold 100's of mounts. Our product is in stock and ships the same day you order if placed by 4pm. We have a stellar reputation for lightning fast shipping.

We are the only vendor with a 110% money back guarantee. You install them and don't like them, you can return them for more $ back than you paid. No one else offers you that!

We have the lowest shipped pricing of all vendors.
