as for the gm stage 2 belt, yes its a true stage 2 belt. its not false advertising. just go to a chevy dealership and ask if they have any in stock and buy it locally.

I just wanted to get a idea of what oher people say about it. I have the zzp belt... i figure i should just use it....instead of blowing 100 bucks on 2 belts..might as well us the zzp belt til it snaps.

lets hope it fits the 2.9 pulley...lol

It's a good kit, I have it. I recommend getting the 2.8" and don't skimp out on the HE. It's not much more so just get the S3 one.

Also, their belt is not a true GM Stage 2 belt (FYI, this is the shorter belt they are talking about. Comes with the GM Stage 2 kit cause of the smaller pulley). It's notorious for chunking. I'd find a real one sometime. www.ottperformance.com sells a similar kit (they are all pretty well the same) and it comes with an actual GM Stage 2 belt.

i have a jdm catback exhaust with a resenator and a muffler, and just put a catless 2.5 downpipe, and it sounds amazing.

So will the zzp belt work fine on a 2.8 ? Or is it best to get the adjustable tension ?

Is there a noticeable gain upgrading to the ZZP S3 from the GM S2? I'm looking into this as my next mod, but want to make sure the power increase would be worth it for the price (kit + installation).

THis is my same exact question. I will be on zzp's canned tune btw just for reference.
2.8, 60's, and dual pass, and cat back exhaust

I ran my setup with a 2.8 on a stock dp for a long time with no problems its not necessarily needed but helps in gaining performance.

It will more than work fine on a 2.8. When my ZZP Belt **** on me I even ran the stock belt for a bit until I could get a GM Stage 2 one, it still ran fine but would slip <4500 on the SC pulley.
