ZZP Tensioner

Looking for opinions from the people who actually have them.
Does it make it a lot easier to get the belt on and off than the stock POS?
(In other words is it worth the 100 if I'm frequently pulling the belt on and off, or should I continue bleeding on and scraping up my pullies?)
Fairly easy install?
Thanks in advance

bump anyone?

I'd continue to get bloody knuckles. It will remind you that you have a sack.

Have you tried mechanix gloves? All BS aside, they are awesome.

it's not so much the slamming the wrench in my palm and the knuckles on the engine pullout mount, it's more the wrench sliding off the friggin bump that you're supposed to put it on.
gloves would be nice however also lol my palms killin me.

pulley boys sells a tool specifically for removing the supercharger belt. it works amazingly. You can put a stg2 belt on a stock pulley with that thing... One man can do it by himself too

the ZZP tensioner is to increase tension for smaller pulleys, not to assist in removing/installing the belt

Yes, it will allow you to run pretty much any pulley without changing the belt.

yeah i'm taking it off again to do my DPE next weekend so i'll determine if it's worth a switch or not after that lol.
does hammering a 14 on there really work that much better? doesn't it wear down at all?

Yeah it works great I just did it today to take my s/c off and she doesnt act like its going to slip at all shes tight! You just have to hammer it on everytime you want to loosen the belt.

Your going to need the pulley puller you can rent at zzp for $105 and then you get $75 back when you return it.
