2.2 with VVTI?

me and my cousin where talking on what i should do with my car for performance reasons. Is it possible to get the 2.4 valve timing on the 2.2? i know with hondas it is not sure with Ecotecs. Also how hard would it be to swap the 2.4 into a ls instead of building my 2.2?

waste of time to swap the motor, youd be better off just finding a 2.4 and trading in your 2.2.

and for future refrence, Honda's V-tec, and Gm's VVT-I are not even close to the same

yeah its a dam shame.. considering that gm invented v-tec but never got it to work so they sold the patten to honda... but gm was going to applicate it to v8's create more horse power under heaver loads...

so yeah useless info of the day

correct, honda's Vtec is electronicly controlld. GMS VVT is mechanicaly controlled,

but if you really wanted to do the swap you would need the wiring harrness, the engine, the ECU and the trany controller
