How do i get my low end back with out a tune or is there a tune for the 07 ecu yet?
from the looks of it you need to get a header/dp to finish off the exhuast. you got a bottle neck going on there so you're not going to see much low-end due to the back pressure that's initially created when you get on the throttle.

Yeah true but if you read my sig it say what i plan on doing next which is turbo but it hasnt came out yet and until then i dont want to buy a header/dp just for a couple of months and then get rid of it, that would be pointless...

But i donno maybe i'll just have to wait and save money...

but you would have to upgrade the header regardless I believe for the turbo. You would most likely end up going supercharger instead of turbo.Less **** to deal with on a turbo compare to a supercharger.

On that other page, it says 2.2 HO kit. And, really that's what it is, but it's modelled after the 2.4L as this page explains. Pretty good increase in power for about 250 shipped.

yeah I see it as being worth it,but people lost some torque due to they don't have a header on and new downpipe. So I am sure with that installed and other set ups it will run really nice. Also give it a nicer sound

I know u can remove the SAI and delete it out if you can find a dealer willing to but when i was installing my 2.4 mani i was the SAI was hooked up to this thing bolted to the base of the engine. so here's my question when removing it from the car is it separate from engine or do i need some type of plug for the engine?

Beacuse i was told the air goes in the engine then to the manifold... but it look like it just bolted on with no connection to the engine as far as air goin in or out but i could be wrong...

SAI sucks air in from the engine filter box through a pump attached to the side of the engine, then it goes to the checkvalve on top of the exhaust manifold -- if you take the exhaust manifold off you will see the chamber where the air goes into the exhaust ports. In SAI equipped cars the ECM is set up "enabled" for SAI -- if you can get a dealer to "disable" SAI you could remove all the pieces and use a normal exhaust manifold. Disabling SAI is done with the same equipment that they use when they install the dealer-installed 16" wheels.

My 2.4 intake manifold was just installed today. WOW just with CAI and catback exhaust its noticeable. Unfortunatly the drop in torque in the low rpm range is also noticeable. After about 4200 it picks up and boogities.

What confuses me .. the first time i tested a 3200rpm launch, i got back on the gas where I'd normally be gripped and moving forward. I WAS SITTING STILL SPINNIN! lol I was like YES !! Adjusted my throttle and clutch release timing and got faster launches. Quarter mile comparisons will be posted as soon as I make it 2 the track.
