he is waiting to see the results from tuning xcobaltx, he has a thread on it, i called vince a couple weeks ago asking him if he could tune my car, he said he was waiting to get results from this guy, thats prob why he is waiting a bit, dont rush man, hes not gon rip u off, i dont think so, he prob just doesnt wanna throw a tune he isnt sure will work, i know hes done other turbo balts, but i think this is the first one to be done thru emails, plus, the guy has had shitty luck with his shop, his orderes, etc, so its taking him a while, i knwo when i order mine i will ask him to rich it up a bit...i will do a dyno pass, and raise the boost every time, until either, my a/f's are just right, or i start making more hp than im sappose, than have him adjust it to that set up, email him the dyno sheet so he can see where my a/f's need to be adjusted a bit, and go from there...
well i talked to vince not to long ago....it turns out that he is going to be shipping me a tune 2morrow....so everything is looking good i should get my tune by saturday or monday...we are going to help each other and get this bad boy running...that and i need to get some ss/sc injectors to get this baby running with the tune that he is sending me...any help anyone....i need some ss/sc injectors

yea i tried to put the stock one back on...but no luck... for some stupid reason it just dont line up....mayb im stupid or something...but ill get one soon...along with a whole new 3" turbo back exhust

well i got some ss/sc injectors yesterday....i tried to install them today and i realized that the harness is different...so now im stuck....i looked in the classifieds for a harness but im still waiting on a reply hopefully someone can hook me up....i really need this harness...like yesterday

lol, the ss/sc injectors should be plug and play into our harness, idk, im prety sure they are, you sure they didnt connect right? i know i have a harness with my injectors, i got them when i bought them from a local with a stg2, check the classifieds, i think i saw someone selling injectors and the harness for like 50 bucks...look for it, i mean 50 bucks for a harness and free injectors seems like a good way to think of it

well since i couldnt find a harness for the injectors that i bought from cole i built my own and isntalled it along with the injectors.....it made a big difference even without the tune...the engine idles alot better with those 34's....which by the way....vince called me earlier and said i should get my tune by 2morrow if not tuesday

oh shait i got my tuner im about to go plug it in....my wife is taking pics and video...so stay tuned....lol
well ill tell you all this....the tune is installed but it still needs some work...once i boost....it goes from 14.7 to 14.3 a/f mix....and well im not at full boost yet...im going to turn it up 2morrow to the full 8~9 lbs that i want to run...ill c what it does then....but im only going to creep up to it...lol...the tranny is pretty sweet also...it shifts alot harder and nicer than the b&m shift plus....the power is there it just needs to get fine tuned a bit...well ill c how it goes tomorrow cuz its a lil late already

thats not bad, werent you set at like 1psi though, try setting it to 8-10, that should drop ur a/f's down to where they should be...set the boost were you want it at, than just have him adjust for that setting, i know ima try and squeeze everything i can out ofit, if i run rich, ill add more boost...when i hit 220whp...i will stop and say there, than just have vince adjust for that setting

yea thats what im going to do 2morrow...adjust my turbo for 8~9 like i said and hopefully i get the right readings...according to him he sent me a fuel map that is really rich when fully boosted like 10.5 he said but ill find out 2morrow.....

thanks....lol....im watching it her real carefully on the other note....i got the check gas cap this morning......i think someone tried to get into my gas tank last night or something like that....who knows?

no thats just me cruising right now....i went about quarter throttle and it went down to about 14.1~14.2...i expected it to be somewhere around 13 but like i said...im in touch with vince and we shall c what we can do about this

so im crusing back to work right now...and i was going up this hill and then all of a sudden i loose all power to the engine..power steering and then it shuts off....im like **** ****.....so im thinkin mayb it went into limp mode...ill let it sit for a lil bit and see if it comes back to normal...its happened b4....so i start it a few times and its still not coming back...i finally decide to pop the hood and i see that my feed pipe has blown off the actual turbo....so i wasnt getting no air to the engine...it couldnt breath....im glad that was the only problem...lol....well i fixed that in a few minutes....really tighted down that clamp... i might need to get a different clamp cuz i didnt like the way that one was looking....but its good 4 now....it kinda scared me for a bit but its alllll goood
