200whp N/A?
fixed can't forget the original LS Sports. Also they will fit any J-body with an ecotec swap from 95-05.
woops....... i wasnt sure if its was 02 or 03 all remember is when i first saw the cars in the lot over in germany on base, i though it was late 02 but must have been early 02, thanks for the other info though sir.
mike
so how much power do you think an 06 with say GMPP intake and exhaust, lsj header and dp, 2.4 manifold, lsj throttle body, stage 1 comp cams, and upgraded injectors would make with a tune
175.
on a good day...with the right elevation...maybe...MAYYYYBE
but id say youll probly see 160

are you serious? i made 168 with stock injectors and a 2.4 TB, you think that with cams, lsj throttle body, and larger injectors you'd only get 7 more hp? obviously a tune is on both cars but still only 175??
That's what I would consider ridiculously high.., the dyno thread has some 2.2s as low as 11x,12x with mods. Good for you I 'spose
your 168 is a happy dyno. i'd say youre at 155whp with what you got. maybe 160
Now that I think about it... theres someone with full bolts on, tune, stg 1 cams that didnt make as much power to the wheels as you did nearly stock. Cant remember the name though, yellow car?
i m cammed stg2 my injector are not maxed out. and i would like use lsj TB and it was not a option to me to run larger injector.
I have full bolts ons and stg2 cams, with a bad afr i made 180whp...but thats also with a shaved cyl head and FULLLLL bolt ons in optimal conditions (the area i live in makes for happy cars
ya..mean but true
Really, any dyno numbers are irrelivant to a car run on a diff dyno. Dynos are really designed to test a car to see if its optimal power and check to see if tuning and parts up the power...using the same dyno you get those results...but due to variables between dynos, locations, hell...even days and time of year it gets to be kinda biased. For instance..the area I dyno in has great air, it is kept nice and cold, dense air and is at relativly at sea level... Also, tire size can have an effect (kind of like a different final drive ratio). SO when you start to think about it, although its a great tool, and we like to compare numbers....comparing them is kind of useless unless everyone dynos on the same dyno same day....
and blah blah blah hahahahaha
That doestn stop me from bragging about my numbers and making people jealous though
and just wait till spring time, when the car has a ported and polished head and a new dyno tune

I didn't read the whole thread, so maybe this has been mentioned already, but one of the problems with a 200whp 2.2 is that it will need to be revved to 10k+ RPMs to achieve this peak power number.
