Yea, it's a K&N. I'll put a rubber cap over it and probably use a small hose clamp to keep it on there good and tight.

AAAAGGGHHH! I can't wait!

So I got it put on last night. Because of my (loud) exhaust, I didn't notice too much of a change in volume with the intake on. It just sounds alot "smoother" I guess you could say. When I first put it on, there was this "zapping" noise whiich stopped after the 2nd or 3rd high rev.

A buddy of mine helped me put it on, and we ended up puting an expansion bolt in the sai nipple. (Got the wrong size too, had to trim it down instead of going all the way back out to the store).

So yea, I did notice some HP gains when I goosed it in 3rd. It was wet, so once I got to a certain point, the tires just started spinning, so I let off instead of wreck. (figured that'd be the better idea) So yea, thanks for all the help fellas, K&N (even if used) was definately the best way to go...

The intake can be found HERE

the MAF adapter can be found on cobalt addiction.com but I wouldn't recommend them unless you want to wait a month for parts
