well i think that space might be there in the heaat shield in the cavs too , but it might even be smaller , been a long time ive looked at 1 and the g/fs cav has a dc sport shorty header (soon to change to the ss/sc header from pacesetter)

GM does think ahead sometimes , and have places planed out , even though in some case they shoulda just meet the next years standars early , or from the begining

No discounted price, this item was never installed, we did our best to work with our customer; we ended up paying for shipping to the customer and paying shipping to bring it back here in stock, even though this was not known. We do what we have to, to keep everyone happy

Email us if you have the "air injection" and if you do we might be able to help you out on the price if you are willing to help pacesetter out. This goes for anyone, we can save you some money, if you are willing to help.

do you have your stock stuff that we can use ? i can send a call tag to get it picked up , you just have to have it boxed up securly

the only way to get rid of the light is for air to get entered into the exhaust stream , and the o2 to see it change when it comes on

okay...question time....if this only affects cars with california emissions standards...couldnt you just wipe the computer and use the comp info from an out of state cobalt? they wouldnt throw codes because theyre not even built with the parts that would register a code needs to be thrown....or am i mistaken?

That would seem reasonable. Completely remove the air injection, slap on your header, then get a reflash of a different ECM program. I might even go ask my shop about that as see what the program difference is.
