I think you misunderstood me. From what everyone has said, the DRLs are the actual headlight beam on the '07 however on the '06 and '05 DRLs are the turn signal bulbs. I like the look of just the headlights over the turn signal bulbs

You say that there is space for the manifold to fit into the car, but the TB won't bolt up correctly? What would it take to get the TB to bolt up?
What's the gain for this change, and is there a better/cheaper alternative to the SS part?

Does anyone know if its a Direct swap to switch Speedo/Tach gauge from a ss/sc to a cobalt ls (2006 L61, 2.2L)?

I am very interested in doing this, I love the ss gauges at night time.

Bolt up it will fit but you'd have to get you ECU Reprogrammed to handle the change.

In on they just removed the Amber Lenses in place of an Amber Bulb.

It's more that the TB is electronic and will cause the car to go into Limp mode. There are no after market TB's. Crate Engine Depot has a kit to put the 2.4 manifold on to the 2.2 using the L61 TB

With some modification it should fit. I've been thinking about doing this for awhile and I have looked into how much the front bumper costs here and it was $500 for just the front bumper. You are not going to get the whole kit for $400. More like $1000+ and then likely paint and body modification to mount it. Don't forget to look up how much the fog lamps cost which will make you puke. I would get an aftermarket set of turn signals from a 2002 GT Sunfire (round) and use those as fog lamps/turn signals in the bumper. Thats my future plan down the road if I ever switch to the SS kit.

The other problems you will likely run into is replacing or fabricating the protective plastic under the front of the car. I hate this plastic on all GM cars with such a passion. It is the most flimsy POS I have ever seen.

Let me know how it fits and what you had to do to get it to fit. It will be mostly a bolt on but I suspect some hang ups. Probably a little bit of fabrication here and there.

If your talking about the SS Fascia's they are direct Bolt up. The "Body Kit" that GM offers is a Lip kit from my understanding.

I know the 32 lb injectors will fit with no leak but what about tuning? would it even be worth getting them since there is no tuning for the 2.2s yet or is it a different kind of tuning?

I've tried them, they fit Leak free but the computer has a seizure, when i go Wot in second, so they wont work right now. With tuning I'm using it with a 75 shot, safer that way

Does anyone know if there would be more benefit from swapping out the SS intake manifold rather than the 2.4L intake manifold? I know the 2.4L can swap with minimal effort but what about the SS? would it be even more beneficial or just about the same as a 2.4L intake?

the 2.0 inatake manifold is designed to have a s/c bolted to it so it wont take a throttle body

jk, question i have is could I change my drums to rotors, in a bolt-on fashion or would this require the ss/sc rear axel be swaped as well?

It would require the new Hub which would mean you would need new rims in the back. You would have to change to the 5 lug. Stainless steel brake company makes a kit to do rear Disc in our car.
