awesome.. can't wait

how do you take that black plastic part off the car?? the one that starts in the front and goes back?? it seems to be like part of the whole stock intake

you have two pieces of plastic thats really visible on the motor.. one is the cover that goes over the head and the oil cap comes through and the other is closest to the front of the car which would be your intake pipin.. the engine cover just lifts off after you that the oil fill cap off.. the intake pipe is held on by 3 hose clamps.. one is under the intake that you get to from the drivers side one hold the pipin to the air filter box and the other is the lil hose that comes from your valve cover to the intake pipe.. then there is the maf sensor which you can just unplug till you get ready to put it in the new intake..

o and there is more under the air filter box that has to be removed and in the bumper but you pull the passenger head light to get to that part.. most pull the enter fender well but i did it through the headlight hole..

just finished installing mine this morning, i have an 07 so that meant it comes with the sai thing, so for that extra tube i pluged in a little filter from autozone. i turned it on and it seemed ok, but whenm i turned it off, it made a weird noise, so i did it twice and left it so my bro could check it put. when he never showed up i turned it on and the engine light came on .. so i guess ill be taking it off tommorow, so i could take it to the dealersihp.

most cels have to be turned off by computer or scanner but some will go off when the problem is fixed.. it just depends on what the cel is for..

Or just clear the code with a scanner, or disconnect the battery for about 30 seconds after you switch back
