yeah we can figure out WTF is going on car likes to stay 200+, have bled the system twice, even tried a 80/20(water/coolant) mix, still doing it, even spent 10 bucks on watter wetter

The guy that did my tune has my fan kick on at either 180 or 200, I can't remember

Mine is still at 220*, and with no pressure in the a/c it won't turn on when I turn the ac knob

personally I would have it kick on at 210*F since out thermostats open @ 180*F.

its just a reley from like, carquest, the plug in type, and we just wired it to a keyed source on the feed input

It's the same threading as the throttle body bolts, just in 75mm lenght

Also i've never had the car in the 4rth gear top end...but my a/f is 10.2...not good LOL, what's weird is in 2nd and 3rd it 11.8-12.3, and 10.2 in 4rth...I don't get it...may need to get with vince again..but I'll leave it alone for now...swap to a 3" pulley...get a ls4 tb, dual pass, and than I'll get a retune

Not stock cars...both have bolt ons and tuned...they are a 200hp car to start with...I have stock pulley, will be doing the fllowing to male sure this won't happens again

3" pulley
Ls4 throttle body
Dual pass
RAW 3" intake
Re-tune

I don't know that an LS4 TB would be necessary but I wouldn't have thrown the stock pulley on there in the first place. Even stock pulley LSJs are slow...

note to self, take it through all gears while tuning

Hmmm do I need dual pass for 2.8"??? I kinds don't wanna run more than 15psi as idk how the stock engine react to that kind of pressure...I'll do a 2.9" at the lowest...

you might want to get one, hell we made one for liek 5 bucks in parts at lowes, its worth the time and effort

I think he's saying that those bolts are the same size as whatever they are for the TB, only a diff length. But if you don't know the size of the TB bolts you're screwed

Hey don't u have access to the bolt sizes for everything at the dealership? I know at my local dealership they can tell me the bolt sizes for virtually any part for my car

You should have also pulled that charger.

I would assume 10Lbs and a 2.2 with supporting mods would be making around 210-230 WHP.

Ok, this is question is getting much more complex than it really is. In the how-to's and parts lists they tell you to get some M8x1.25x75 bolts or whatever for the intake. Apparently you're supposed to drill out the holes (where the 2 studs currently are) and use the M8 bolts. Some say you don't need to drill and tap and that you don't need bolts.

So I asked him what he used. He said.

So I was simply asking if he took out the M6 studs that are in there now and changed them over to bolts for the intake. By looking at my intake, I cannot see anywhere else where two 75mm bolts would go.

I'm basically trying to figure out... do I need to drill and tap for the M8 bolts, do I not need to worry about bolts and can use my current studs, or can I simply use the two m6x1.0.x75's.

are you sure yu're not thinking of the M8x1.25x120mm for the alternator bracket/tensioner? I dont recall buying any additional bolts....
