Jn2, did you use the 2 m6x1.0x75mm for the intake manifold bolts where the studs go instead?

I don't know that an LS4 TB would be necessary but I wouldn't have thrown the stock pulley on there in the first place. Even stock pulley LSJs are slow...

note to self, take it through all gears while tuning

Hmmm do I need dual pass for 2.8"??? I kinds don't wanna run more than 15psi as idk how the stock engine react to that kind of pressure...I'll do a 2.9" at the lowest...

I don't know that this answered my question? My question was:

did you use the 2 m6x1.0x75mm for the intake manifold bolts where the studs go instead?

I think he's saying that those bolts are the same size as whatever they are for the TB, only a diff length. But if you don't know the size of the TB bolts you're screwed

Hey don't u have access to the bolt sizes for everything at the dealership? I know at my local dealership they can tell me the bolt sizes for virtually any part for my car

You should have also pulled that charger.

I would assume 10Lbs and a 2.2 with supporting mods would be making around 210-230 WHP.

Ok, this is question is getting much more complex than it really is. In the how-to's and parts lists they tell you to get some M8x1.25x75 bolts or whatever for the intake. Apparently you're supposed to drill out the holes (where the 2 studs currently are) and use the M8 bolts. Some say you don't need to drill and tap and that you don't need bolts.

So I asked him what he used. He said.

to bolt the intake manifold to the engine you need

m6x1.0 75mm x2
and the other stock ones will work with washer to help make up for them beig longer than needed

So I was simply asking if he took out the M6 studs that are in there now and changed them over to bolts for the intake. By looking at my intake, I cannot see anywhere else where two 75mm bolts would go.

I'm basically trying to figure out... do I need to drill and tap for the M8 bolts, do I not need to worry about bolts and can use my current studs, or can I simply use the two m6x1.0.x75's.

are you sure yu're not thinking of the M8x1.25x120mm for the alternator bracket/tensioner? I dont recall buying any additional bolts....
