I will definitely refer to this thread as well as others.

Keep the vids/pics coming!!!
I just sent mine out to be powdercoated. I will show pics in my thread once received.

I have a few questions, but I'll just ask one at a time.

Other than the 2 studs and nuts, do the stock intake manifold bolts work for this err do I need all new one's?

they need to be shorter, about 10mm shorter bolts...the studs and nut that are on there now work, than u need 2 longer bolts, 75mm long, m6x1.0, and the other 3 need to be 10mm shorter, or use washers like i did

yeah about that bumper...ummm? lol you look like a turbo Honda

dammit I just bought bolts from bolts depot! so besides the m8x1.25 bolts you also need:

1 75mm m6x1.0 and 3 65mm m6x1.0?

So if I read this right, I don't need to worry about getting studs and drilling out and re-tapping for the LSJ intake?

I believe there are 5 bolts total besides the studs and nuts... so I'm not 100% sure what you mean here? Sorry to sound stupiiid.

to bolt the intake manifold to the engine you need

m6x1.0 75mm x2
and the other stock ones will work with washer to help make up for them beig longer than needed

to bolt the alternator on

m8x1.25 130mm x3

i messed up and got m8x1.25 75mm for the intake manifold, turns out i needed m6x1.0 x_x

I can tell you right now why the Ottp HE didnt fit in your bumper............ you mounted it wrong....

i have it on my car and had to make two 1/4" notches in the underside of the bumper and that was it.

Thanks for the information. I certainly appreciate it.

The powdercoater sent me a quick pic this afternoon and I will be posting it in my thread in a few minutes if anyone is interested. It is in the LAP section.

I also forgot to ask about the gauges. What gauges are you using? I didn't know you could get a mechanical boost gauge with the LED's when it is lit up at night.

Whenever you get time obviously.

Thanks very much. I'm having a bit of a problem figuring out which gauges to buy. Of course I have the Pontiac so I have white faced gauges so I'm trying to match the other gauges. I wonder if you can get them with different colored bulbs... red in my case.

So how's this coming jn2, are you still idleing ok, how's it running? Good i hope!!! I know i'm stuck on the idle issue, mine's pissing me off, lol.... . I'm uploading vids for my setup right now, will have more up tomorrow.

Do you think you could have air trapped in your cooling system causing the overheating issue.

She lives!!!

She's fun to drive, but the reason she overheats is because the fan doesn't come on until 240. But the retune tomorrow should fix that.

Hopefully. But that problem probably isn't in the tune I was informed.

JN2... couple of questions for you.

On the TB re-pinning and all. If our connector is a 6 pin and the LSJ is an 8 pin, how does that actual connector body fit in the LSJ TB?

I see that you mentioned in another thread you have 2 LSJ headers. I need one for my car so I can get rid of the SAI. Can you help me out with one?

preston had the exact same issue afer he went turbo, with his fans no working. a few weeks later they started working just fine, it was weird, but in the mean time he wired the fans to a switch.
