Street tunes are good for one thing.

Getting the car driveable enough to drive it to the real tuner. Thats it.

Do you think all these guys that run 11.5's and 10.9's etc etc are sitting in there car tuning it themselves? LOL the answer is No.
If you drive your car on a dyno a Dyno tune is perfect, if your drive your car on the street, theres nothing wrong with a street tune.

Who are "all these guys "running 11.5s and 10.9s? Ive never seen a street driven balt run 11's. let alone 10's. And of course as mentioned there is no live tuning suite available for his car, SOOOO it doesnt really matter anyway. All that aside I still fail to see how datalogs taking from a street run are superior to those taking on a dyno run.

yea i know wat your saying. but maybe you should check your lines and etc to figure out why your not boosting more than 13psi. cuz i'm runnin that right now. but it can be the tune also or maybe cuz its auto?????
your the one who inspirated me to do my build so your car should be the shiznit. lol

General rule of thumb. If you are running the same size pulley as someone else and getting less boost then you are better off then they are.

no cuz he made me run alot more fuel in my car when he tune it. like i used like 95 percent of my injectors so that cause it to run rich and more boost cuz of the fuel. but when i was tune right i am only using 80-88 percent of my injectors. so that could be it. but not really sure.

naw dude...fueling will not affect boost levels. boost is created in the manifold, and that is also where the MAP sensor is. Fuel injectors are downstream of that, in the head just above the valves. Adding things into the head after the manifold should have no effect on the manifold pressures.

here's a little something is pent a good hour making, made this for you blown 2.2's wanting something for a backround etc, image worked on using Cs3, i did not go into extreme detail, but i believe it looks nice, i was not able to paint the blower or valve cover, well i could but i could only get a matte/flat color out of it, i was not able to get a shiny black blower with a shiny black valve cover, only a flat black blower and cover, so i decided not to save it

i still need to figure out how ima mount my MAP, the hole on the manifold is bigger than the nipple on the MAP, and also my map is a twist on map, i dont have the plastic flange o'rdeal thing to bolt it, so ima have to find a way to put it on and keep boost from blowing it out, im thinking of using quick steel to mold my own plate lay it over the map mold it in shape and make a sort of holder to hold the map down into the manifold

ps. here's a shot of how the image would look like a phone

im confused...it looks the exact same as the picture on google, only the colors are all brighter/more vivid

edit: nvm...just noticed the 2.2 valve cover
also, the sensor i circled here:

is a 1bar MAP sensor that just so happens to fit directly into the LSJ manifold.

it was the pic from google of the cavi 2.2, and the pic of a lsj on google, i saved them both, re-sized the lsj one as it was too small, copied over the blower section, and added it to the 2.2 image, than went back and cleaned up some areas, thats why u see that sensor there :p just to be clear i did not put a 2.2 valve cover on a 2.0 image, i put the whoel blower assembly on a 2.2 image

you don't need a map on the sc cuz we don't use it. but you can use it to plug the hole much better than finding something to put in it.

look at interview build he got a video of wat he had to grind down.

I made up my own thread now since I'm the LAP and I don't want to intrude on people's threads. I have a question about the MAP sensor that totally doesn't seem right. Could you guys please start visiting my thread and possibly answer my question?

Thanks, Gene.
