header arrived today, thanks a lot aaron, i was able to run to the shop and have the bung welded in for the wideband, except it wont be installed tommorow as planned as they wont be in tommorow, so i was told monday we can do my exhaust work here's some pics

ill be wrapping it with fiberglass wrap later today, the warranty card said not too, but i mean wrap doesnt do anything except show defects in the original product, i dont think pacesetter has anything to hide...or do they

Could have something to do with the coating. Keeps the heat in the header instead of dissipating outwards.

wrapping doesnt do anything but keep the exhaust in the header hotter, which in turn improves scaveging effect, the reason most manufactuers void your warranty after wrapping is bc its suppose to cause them to rust faster since it holds in moisture or what not, well if done right u can coat the header before hand, than wrap it, than coat the wrapping to keep moisture out in the first place; ill be prep'n the header tommorow, hitting it with 1200* primer to keep moisture off the actual steel, than wrapping it, than hitting the wrap with the spray they make for it to help seal moisture out

ok so install will take place in a few hrs here, i decided not to wrap the header, mainly from being lazy; and it was hto out and i didnt feel like wearing gloves and a long sleeve shirt :p so i went and used some of the flameproof series paint/ceramic paint on the header instead, i hit the piping with brake cleaner to eat off the black coating;

well my header is on, im not to happy about fitment, but i made it fit, just need to go in there and touch up the paint to prevent it from rusting prematurely...

^^issues #1-4(like th is above each cylinder primary) hammer mod fix'd it

emnd reasult, i guess i missed the bottom of the header around the collector and the paint lifted bc of their paint job they put on it, but around the primaries the paint held fine, the colored look is from my dirty hand touching them, ima go back and repaint it now that it has been made to fit

I am going to have to change the location of my wideband mounting point because of my new header. That is an interesting spot to put it.

Looks like you can scratch the Trifecta Tune off of your need list.

I will be there with a tune written up by Vince for you. When you're ready to put it on, I'll do it.
