the other hole on the blower, think of that as the wastegate equivilent...there is a bypass valve that handles the valve that opens and closes on the blowers end

yeah i just picked up the tensionor and the idler pulley from the same seller as the intake manifold, so they all ship together later today once hes out of work, he almost shipped it during his lunch but i manage to get a hold of him via PM before he did, saves me cash on shipping lol so only things left are

exhaust
lsj intake
stgII belt
zzpmodular system 3" pulley
42lbs injectors and harness
tune from trifecta

and thats it, ill be cap'n the lower nipple on the actuator so boost will be limited to ~4-5psi so i can drive the car w/out slipping the clutch, shortly afterwards a spec stg2+ and fidanza flywheel will be installed, probably a month or 2 after the sc build is done

I think I'm probably gonna paint mine as a hole...

...though perhaps maybe I should do this, too.

it looks like they welded in a few extra inches that made it stick out though. The part that is being held up by the support has welds on both sides of it? If it wasnt there, it would look fine.

Yeah but thats just the tip, that doesnt account for the muffler hangers being 5 inches away from where they should be, or the over axle pipe hitting both the axle AND the body of the car, or the over axle hanger being 2 inches too low and 4 inches too far back, or the midpipe hanger being 3" too high, or it having the wrong flange. It looked good. Somebody had a bad day on the bender and welder though, LOL

That hole is for the oil dipstick. I am not sure how the 2.2 dipstick is designed. You may not need to use it.

So the color you painted the SC was just the primer? What is going to be the final color of the SC and IM?

ohhh ok yeah i wont need it lol i noticed other manifold had it to, and its perfectly machined on their lol, i was like something goes in there

yes thats primer, it has 4 coats of primer on top the of the sanding to get the casted look off,it will get a few coats of black, and loads of clear coat, same for the intake manifold, its cold right now the weather went from 80's to 40's over night and it wont let up til next week, so im not painting till weather gets warmer...paintin in the cold FTL

ok so i took the manifold apart, and this thing is filthy, dont know what the previous owner put this thing thru, but i took the endplate off, and it looked like it had engine oil in it, looking in thru the ports, its filthy with black dried up mud looking gunk, the intake manifold inlet is pretty clean but around the bottom its filthy, im going to be removing the cores, and pressure washing this damn thing inside and out, also the endplate has what looks like rust build up on the inlet and outlet im going to be taking a wirebrush to that and cleaning it ina dn out too, and the cores are getting cleaned with running water, after that it will dry it down, and start sanding the manifold to get ready for paint; doing this all tonight and tommorow morning
