Fans work now. Waiting on the Internet to work again to get another tune to fix a CEL.

Other than that, things are looking good.

When you get a chance you can answer my other questions I posted.

Is the 11PSI with the 3.0 pulley? I guess you stopped blocking off the bottom line on the actuator?

I see that you mentioned in another thread you have 2 LSJ headers. I need one for my car so I can get rid of the SAI. Can you help me out with one?
It wont work. You have to get a tb that has 6 pins, not 8.

I was told from the person who I bought it from, in this thread, that a 6 pin was not available. I just looked in the GM Parts Catalog and all TB's from 05-07 were the same, proving his claim a bit. What am I missing?

I'm not positive if there's 6 pin lsj tb's out there, but trying to force the 6 pin into the 8 pin will not work.

If you as t to buy the lsj header that's fine, I just don't have a boxto ship it with, but it's what u need to remove sai. The tb Clip on ur harness won't connect to the lsj one

you can rewire an 8 pin TB to accept a 6 pin connector, as long as you have the pigtail of the 8pin. The 8 pin connector has 2 high voltage and 2 low voltage reference wires. The 6 pin connector only has one of each, hence 2 less wires. You can split the 2 wires in a 6 pin TB to make 8 pins, or you can join the 2 similar wires of each pair together in an 8 pin connector to make 6 pins

So I just looked at the L61 TB connector in the service manual and it shows you have a 6 pin as well. What did you do here?

Ok, I figured that I would have to buy the 8 pin connector now. That is an expensive SOB... $150. Oh my. Oh well, what is another $100. lol.

Thank you sirs, for your information.

Oh, one last thing. I'm trying to figure out where stuff goes, hoses, etc. The big nipple on the SC close to the TB. Where does that go?

if you're thinking of the same one i think you are(towards the firewall), then it connects to the boost bypass actuator

if you're talking about the brass one facing the front of the car, then there is a little plastic (the non flexing one) hose that attaches to it.

Here is a pic of my supercharger per se.

There is the small one for the bypass actuator. There is one facing the front of the car, but that is on the TB and that goes to the evap solenoid. I'm talking about the big one to the left of the bypass valve shown in the pic, close to where the TB would mount.

correcto. should be 5 vacuum lines in total...evap(on the TB), brake booster, PCV (on the intake), and actuator, and the tiny one for a boost gauge on the manifold

Thank you gentleman. You are making my preparation a great experience. I'm just trying to avoid tearing it down and then looking for more parts, lol.

Yes, I found on JN2's pics that the line goes from valve cover to the air intake. That was one of my other questions previously (not asked here).

I haven't had a chance to look in the parts manual yet so where does my current brake booster hose go? I guess I need to buy the one for the LSJ?

I did, lol. So stock pulley was 10 and 3.0 was 11? That doesn't sound right (from what I've been reading). I'm just asking because I decided to go ahead and get the 3.0 pulley instead of using the stocker.

Isn't that the Blower By-Pass Return Hose?

it attaches to the intake manifold on the 2.2 and 2.4. Its kind of hard to see until you're uninstalling the stock manifold. It is BARELY long enough to reach the new location, so you can reuse the stock hose.

You are extremely valuable, lol. I checked this afternoon in the parts catalog and I did see it went to the intake on my car.

You know, the brake pedal is really bad on my car, 2009, and all of the other 2009's on the lot are like this... and the 2008's are NOT like this... and they upgraded the intake manifold for 2009, so I bet once I install the SC my brake pedal gets better!

Thanks for the info, I will be ordering the booster hose in the AM.
